This is a brutal upper body workout. I think I've only scene videos of Ken doing this kind of lift. Who else does well at this one? What's Valery's record?
If anything, this is a great lift to work on if one has knee issues.
What the heck . . . ?! The whole point of kb's is to use explosive, full-body, movements. Why isn't this guy (even better, this competition) push-press from a standing position? Sitting defeats the whole purpose . . .
@DominicLachapelle There are many aspects to Girevoy Sport, look it up, juggling, double chair press, single chair press, Biathlon (2 arm jerk/ one arm Snatch), Long Cycle 2 arm clean and jerk, one arm jerk (womens/youth), one arm clean and jerk (womens/youth)

I would say it is to keep the person from cheating on the press.
Years ago we had the clean and press in the Olympics but it was so difficult to judge it was done away with.

Very, im 180 and i can do periods of 3 like hes doing with 32kg. He is very strong though

this is not easy to achieve and good work. anyone that trains with kettlebell can tell you that even in the rack position you can get tired.
