Não sei afirmar se o ideal seria o depth dele "zerado" pois não sei se com o knob assim ele deixa de atuar (no caso do Giannini). Mas, experimente começando com ele zerado, e em seguida ajuste o knob "speed" pra veloc. aproximada da música, se achar q a oscilação da onda está próxima, só daí então comece a ajustar a profundidade do efeito até aproximar ao criado na música.

"Chutaria" o depth em 12h, pensando q o knob atua tb minimizando em sentido anti-horário.

Sim, e é uma ótima pedida, apesar da sutileza que vc encontrará no botão script. Como é sabido, o block logo (este do video) tem um boost nos médios em algumas situações que pode incomodar. O Botão Script "alivia" este sintoma. Hj eu teria um EVH só por isso. Pra quem não notou este boost de médios, o botão script pode não ser ouvido de modo tão eficaz.

SmallStone é um excelente phaser, mais versátil sim, cada pedal tem sua personalidade. Eu não procurava versatilidade, procurava este exato som do phase 90. Sobre o Nano, nunca liguei um para tecer algum comentário.

Best Phase 90 Demo I've heard ! You're a very good player ! I was wondering if this is a new pedal you bought or is it a used one that might be older. Supposedly there is a difference between the newer phase 90's and the vintage ones .Can you tell us the model number ?

Phaser after drive generate one result, before drives generate other results, both are great, I prefer before my drives because sounds less agressive and more musical and sounds more definite... in my pedalboard the order is:

Wah => Phase => drives => input amp

Cara, vc gravou esse vídeo usando essa Fender Talon, procurei na Net pra ver fotos dela e dei de cara com uma guitarra com cara de Ibanez. É isso mesmo, me desculpe a ignorância, mas é pq nunca tinha visto essa guitar antes. To querendo pegar um Phase 90 pra mim, mas tenho dúvida se pego esse ou o Script, pois tenho visto muita gente dizendo que ele satura muito o som. Pede me ajudar com esta questão? Obrigado.

A fender talon heartfield é praticamente uma Ibanez. Mas shape não determina o timbre. Conjunto madeira / captador / pegada do guitarista é que determina isso. :)

quanto aos modelos de phaser, olha, se tá na dúvida, melhor ir de scrit... ou pega o EVH model q tem ambos, bastandoapertar um botão. Mas se pegar este do vídeoe não curtir, há uma mod simples que elimina o problema do boost CASO esse apareça na sua aparelhagem (pois depende de um monte de coisas para aparecer OU não)

I have a certain difficult to express my opinion because I don´t speak english, but I will try. So, two things are right: is not truebypass, but is not a expressive "signal destroyer", I don´t realize no one lost of signal with this pedal. About lower volume, this pedal presents a certain GAIN into you volume, in some cases, a famous and NO desirable "middle boost" (search in google about mods to resolve this, if you need). My unit is original, and I´m very happy with this pedal.

I use a Ibanez SM7 Smash Box (Heavy Distortion) Pedal, can I use the Phaser while my SM7 pedal is on, or will it sound like Crap?

try this:

guitar --> phase 90 --> SM7 --> amp

I never tested the SM7, but phase with distortions use to be more functional in this order, BUT, is not a RULE, so, test this...

I use in this order and has good results...

nice! i'm thinking about getting this pedal but many of the reviews i've read said that the EVH model has a script sound, and i don't want to pay $120 for a single pedal. Which one do you prefer, or have you not tried the EVH model.

I´m very happy with this model (block logo). The script sound of the EVH model is very, very tenous, and, when the script mode is off, the pedal is equal to the block logo. I don´t pay the diferrence of price because this. But, both pedals are very cool.

Only diferencce between this and the evh is the script button. Apparently, the script option attenuate the middle boost, constantly referred to this pedal, but I don´t certainty. I know that is very tenuous. If you don´t want  pay more, stay with this block logo model.

Vc foi o primeiro a notar isso! acontece que antes da gravação, eu abri o pedal pra olhar a placa e comparar com uma foto de um esquema da remoção do R28. Eu montei só pra gravar os samples e esqueci da porca na hora ahaha, mas ela já está colocada devidamente no lugar.

Este foi talvez o único sample que gravei realmente com microfone direito e com cuidado, os outros foram meio porcos, feitos sem intenção de expor assim, mas que acabaram meio sem querer ganhando exposição. Valeu!

Anyway, I've been scoping a good phase pedal and while checking user reviews, or even the atrocities from GearWire, I've come across a lot of half-assed demos. People who can't play, using the same riff over and over to show the different levels of pedals, who just got the thing and have no clue really how to even use a phase effectively, other than "Rage uses it, so it must be cool." Your demo is spot on

buy an ac adapter. 10-15 bucks in one shot versus a lot more headaches and cash spent over time for batteries that could crap out on you any minute. If you're a serious musician, batteries should not be in your vocabulary unless you have a guitar with a preamp.

I went out and found this pedal (re-issue) after watching this video! I love it. It brings an incredible dynamic to clean tones and makes shredding like VH that much more accessible. I watched Tom Morello use this but it's never really isolated, you always hear it blended in with his other effects. After seeing how often this pedal pops up with the pro's, I am damn near proud to have it on my board. Great demo vid.

Power input -> Sideway (right side).

I never tested the nano small stone.

The Small Stone original have more settings possibilities, a great phase. For my personal use, I prefer the MXR because is more simple for the things I played.

Yes, this one make the job, but, remember: this phase 90 have one knob of speed, the small stone have other presets and maybe you adjust better for a little nuances.

Não, mentira, ele tem sim a entrada de fonte 9v que se localiza na lateral direita do pedal, como muitos pedais da MXR. Ele tb tem compartimento de bateria, porém pra acessá-la vc tem que desparafusar o fundo do pedal.

Nesses samples, eu optei por usar a bateria de 9v apenas por comodidade, pois não tinha uma extensão na hora e não pude ligar a fonte que normalmente uso pra deixar o pedal num bom lugar pra gravar o vídeo.
