  • Gaensehaut!!!

  • Originality is nice in music, and this really proves and grooves it hah.

  • Beautiful sounds to my ears indeed. pure music no trash. soulful indeed.

  • Simply brilliant,thank you Ulrich

  • dizzam today is not a clear day but this song is all the more aurally fulfilling

  • Immense.

  • beautiful, it gave me chills, in the best sort of way!

  • 4 people are out of their minds.

  • 1:47 is like leaping off a cliff and discovering you can fly

  • this is the most epic song I've ever heard...

  • This song stirs up so many emotions: love, paranoia, divine bliss, sorrow. Having played this song with my girlfriend (whom i haven't seen for 5 months, and won't see for another few...) it's a sudden shift from heaven to depression.

    afoenagoafgagagagsrgs

  • Urghhnhnhhh! That is the sound of my groaning to this song.

  • I can't get over how wonderful this is. I am so thankful I stumbled across it on Pandora.

    I love this.

  • @bocislove same here, and I've been hooked ever since.

  • I'm just discovering Ulrich today; I really like it. Plays like a meeting between old school Tangerine Dream and Boards of Canada ... awesome.

  • great tune

  • I love this

  • Wonderful soundscape, faved :]

  • Four people missed the like button. ^_^ Awesome tune.

  • reminds me of when you sleep by my bloody valentine

    My bloody valentine

  • @ctprod1 "but they are not as good" Are you mad?

  • @ctprod1

Lights Out Asia, definitely check them out.

  • what an amazing tune first class....

  • The leafs not moving its the moving words across the screen making it appear so.

  • wonderfull chill!

  • This is what it must be like to make love to the girl of your dreams only to find out she is the love of your life.

  • @KochuJang lol random

  • @KochuJang That is what happened to me.

  • @KochuJang that is by far the most gayest thing ive ever heard. heres a better one. this is what it must be like to travel across the world somewhere like thiland on a beach sun set your next to a girl and conteplate the move talk about the universe cosmos some pretencious bullshit like that. then as soon as you know it you go for the move and baam whilst the verse is playing in the back. heaven.

  • @cramham you say this as i send this to my Thai girlfriend! ha!

  • i have listened to Ulrich once: i was impressed

i have listened to Ulrich some more: My thinking started to resemble the audio.

i have listened to Ulrich even more:

It became a referance to life, foundating my new found state of mind.

i have listened to Ulrich a 1000 times more: it gave me a 1000 new interpretations to this life.

Therefore, Ulrich is a TRUE artist (as like every artist should be. Offering new dimensions to one's creative point of view without distorting it, whenever, where ever)

  • @Vannius6 so true (:

  • @Vannius6 Check out ochre. He sounds similar and another quality artist.

  • @fookyamang Yeah :D

I found Ochre per accident, then I found Boards of Canada through Ochre and now this through BoC. Lovely day!

  • @Vannius6 u r just smoking a lot of weed and combining with his music. simple.

  • @Vannius6

    Couldn't agree more.

  • Thanks to Dariaija for posting an excellent sounding video of this wonderful Ulrich Schnauss tune. I discovered this intrigueing artist on Pandora and have really enjoyed his enchanting and beautifully melodic ambient/chillout music.

  • its 10. am in the morning rite here and its awesome !!! :)

  • NATURE song :)

  • funtastic!

  • This tune is amazing.. I could listen it over and over again... Peace and Love!!

  • You guys making comments on how the leaf 'appears to be moving' are dense. It IS moving. Scroll from frame one to the middle frame. It is clearly zooming out.

  • @ComputerPersonGuy but the leaf itself isn't "moving" just zooming out .. maybe they're referring to the leaf itself, not the zooming

  • btw: a wet leaf is perfect in so many ways for this music..

  • The image is very intriguing, especially when eyes can be such great illusionists.

This is one very calming song, I just want to click my fingers to the soft beat for the next 7 minutes. It's another great tune from Ulrich, good on ya.

  • Ulrich is the music I listen to while driving up the mountain in the winter on my way to ski. Freaking brilliant, awe-inspiring music.

  • Image zooms out slightly during this seven minute video, that's why it seems to morph.

  • OK.... Either I've done too many drugs, of that ;eaf looks like it's V-E-R-Y slightly morphing around...

  • It's called autokinesis. If you stare long enough at something the illusion of movement will manifest itself. As a pilot we learn about it in flight school.

  • Ah - I think I've heard of that. Doesn't it have something to do with small wanderings of the eyes? Something like that...

  • I'm not sure as to the physiology of how it occurs, just how to prevent it from happening to me and when I could expect it to happen in the flight environment. Good to hear you're a Schnauss fan nonetheless.

  • Haha. Agreed.

I remember once, long ago, an instructor describing how, if you watch an unmoving light in the darkness, it will seem to move after awhile, and that the illusion of movement is caused by small wanderings of the eyes and the brain's attempt to adjust for it.

  • MBV-esque but not a direct rip off...This music is sonic narcotic...just like MBV.

  • A clear day is a wonderful thought which never becomes reality but it would be redemption for the body, soul and mind even it is just for one day...hope

  • damn dude... thats right on the spot. though i can say that for many of Ulrichs' works.

  • Why does this music make you want to take drugs? I have nothing against some recreational drug-use, but this song gives me a sobering feeling, like driving a nice car in a beautiful rural area. It makes my brain feel like thinking.

  • This is pretty much a direct ripoff Of My Bloody Valentine's "Soon".. Ulrich practically admits it himself, he's a big fan of MBV.

  • I can only find live versions of MBV/Soon with crappy sound that's hard to make out. The melody and nuances are almost completely lost. It would be helpful to hear a studio version of MBV/Soon.

I'm hearing some similarity, but not a whole lot.

Ulrich made this song really nice with lots of detail and nice sounds. I wouldn't call it a direct rip off. Inspired perhaps.

You want to hear the ultimate ripoff? Tiesto's version of Adagio for Strings ripped verbatim just about from William Orbit.

  • *gasp* Go get a copy of 'Loveless'...now! :)

  • Interesting style.. lets acid trip to it?

  • i can imagine you'd go hard with this music. never tried it. Goa is good music to take acid on though.

  • That's exactly the version as it is on 'Strangely Isolated Place'.

  • not on my CD...its totally different

  • I'd really like to hear your version then. Is there a video on youtube online with it? I only know this one version of 'Clear Day', and I'm quite sure I know all of Ulrich' tracks (and remixes).

  • Wicked!!

  • Ok I just bought the CD with this track on it and it does NOT sound like this....is this a remix or something???

  • Whoooo... triphopmatic style? mix between radiohead and massive attack or faithless...

  • Sounds like the appocalyse up loud!!

  • Very relaxing.

  • Amazing music:)
