  • More recruiters need to see this, would save time during the "interview".

  • The awfulness of this interview reaches its apex when Tapscott gushes about the Obama campaign's success in personalizing its message by sending emails to "Dear Don": "I viewed it as something impressive in that he was trying to get to know me as an individual." Dude, seriously...

  • Indigo Children. I agree. Those below me do not understand that Don is not talking about anything that divides the 1st world from the 3rd world. It as if Evolution has jumped a step or two ahead. The world is very small and no one is untouched. Do we have ADHD and BIPOLAR or are our brains rewired through changes in how Society at large is throwing out there. Yes, these kind of people could forge PEACE!

  • What a load of bollox. Those poor people in China/Malaysia/Vietnam producing all the crap you yanks consume for sure work and have fun, yesyes. The true fact is "prosperity" fucked your brains up and you think you can do nothing and get everything for free. Similar to what banks did until 2007. I suggest you wait few years until China will have to bail you and then we'll see whether the young multitasking yanks will have the same sense of freedom as they do now.

  • Definitely going from a competitive society to a collaborative one. It might take some time for this transition but fortunately it will happen.

  • @marpontes11 Utopia.

  • @marpontes11 That means a better future, since collaboration basically means "peace". Hopefully this peace will not just be between individuals - it will affect entire countries.

  • I do like this video but I really wish the interviewer would let Mr Tapscott finish a thought...

  • this is one of the really good views on the world and generations that can make a person think, i mean really think about the possibilities and potential of modern young people, not just looking at the bad side of them because if you look that way it can make the young rebellious and resentful but naturally if you look at the POSITIVE side of them they gain confidence and purpose and its one of the things that lets me know that we will be able to contribute to history

  • This was a great interview, because he's clearly impressed rather than annoyed with the digital age. I hate it when older people talk down to me as if my age and technological affinity somehow make me less important

  • i talked to a 8 year old the other day and I could hold a full adult conversation with him no problem. my generation n the next one rite under me's gna pwn all the other ones butts!!

  • big fan of the show- big fan of author- brilliant!

  • awesome interview. generation y - represent!

  • I may assign this book in my Freshman composition class next year. This is incredible.

  • The netgeneration, Don Tapscott. For any one that is interested in understanding the massive changes going on in the world

  • interacting and collaborating. we want to be involved!

  • what a smart guy. he knows how we work. grown up digital was a great book.

  • excellent discussion. i definitely feel proud to be a part of gen Y!
