  • Sulla tuo lime näyttääpi enemmän keltaiselta =) Ulkomaanelävät saattavat hämmentyä :D

  • @Rentta Joo vanhalla koneella tein nämä aikoinaan, värit oli ehkä hiukan pielessä siinä, mutta onneksi se ei ole tärkeintä vaan sanat.

  • @inFinnish Näinpä! . Hyviä opetusvideoita sinulla . =)

  • Thank you for your great video but please don't forget about the basic colors (black and white)! Kiitos :)

  • Thanks for the lesson! :)

But, I have a question: I've also seen the word 'pinkki' being used for 'pink'... Is it a colloquialism, an Anglicism, or is it an equal synonym for 'vaaleanpunainen'?

  • @RogerDaran Yes it is used for pink too, vaaleanpunainen is more official though, but you can say both!

  • @inFinnish Paljon kiitoksia!

  • hi!! where is the second part?

  • @mayliimatainen On its way!

  • thank you sooo much make more please kiitos

  • Thank you. Finnish is crazy! 15 letter word for "Pink"

  • Kiitoksia paljon! I've been teaching myself Finnish on and off for a couple of months now; I can't believe I forgot about colours. XD Anyway, I know them now. I love the way you say "Vihreä" btw; I really struggle with the accent myself; especially that word! Listening to you is helping me get the hang of it better, though. :D

  • rrrrrrrrrrrruskea

  • your voice is so pretty and I'm learning so much!

    kiitos!!

  • You know it's funny but I myself thought the redness or blueness in purppura and violetti to be like you presented it (purppura being closer to red and violet closer to blue), but when I checked from Wikipedia, it disagreed...

Joka tapauksessa, ääntäs on kiva kuunnella, vaik nää värit onkin (tai ei oo?) hallussa..

  • do you still add vaalean to pink if i want to say light pink? thanks so much for these videos they are great :)

  • @sherzrizz You can say "vaalea vaaleanpunainen" or "vaalea pinkki". Vaalean literally means "light's".

  • i thought purple was liila?

but thanks this is helping a lot.

    you have great lessons. :]

  • @XxVengeance46xX Yeah, purple can be violetti or liila or even lila.

  • jeez pink is the longest word. ridiculous ;P

  • @napiks Haha, it includes two words vaalean (light) +punainen (red), makes sense aye

  • @inFinnish oh of course, that didn't even click

  • @inFinnish but vaaleanpunainen isn't pinkku? or I can't say pinkku? XD

  • @SaintAsmodeus pinkki... yes you can also say pinkki, i'll make another video of colors so i will add that one too. :)

  • @inFinnish kiitos, sry for my mistake =D kiitos paljon ^^

  • White= Valkoinen Black=Musta ;)

  • white and black? :(

  • @kryss483 this was part 1, part 2 is coming soon! included some "rare" colors, thanks for the comments ya'll :)

  • "Vaaleanpunainen" makes sense, because pink is a sort of "light red". Finnish is so cool!

Where is part 2? I didn't find it... I just found vol.3, talking about numbers...

  • Word "sininen" sounds like "синий" (also blue) in russian.

"tumman" sounds like "туман" (fog) :))

...need to look at the etymology...
