hehe I only use old clubs :P I have spalding proflite, hickory woods of course but I dont have a 2 iron :P thats a club i want to try out ;) I have won also a several competitions with these clubs.. it felt really good winning with old clubs that are harder to play with. then I tried a taylor made burner superfast 2.0, I fired the ball 300 meters at my longest so I have a tip: if you have clubs with hickory head (old clubs) that your not afraid to use.. learn them then switch to a modern golf
set and you WILL be suprised about how perfectly you hit the ball and specally how much longer you will shot :)

i have a 2 iron in my ben hogan set
and although i dont use it very often, i like playing relly alot
+ the wondering faces about that club
enarly avery expereinced or even local pro cant let their hands of my 2iron
looking for a 1 iron now, but cant find one, hm, i wonder why...

I tried this myself a while back with a persimmon driver and a Mizuno 2 iron blade. truly illuminating indeed.
