My Daughter diagnose autism when she was 2 all of a sudden she stop looking and talking.when i call her name seems like she wasn't there ,screaming oh my god we almost move out the apartment complex thank god that we had good manager. My daughter stop screaming after i start GFCF diet and of course ABA therapy. i also start Methyl b12 shots its seems like working she can stay in task for more than an hour, that was impossible( 10 minutes the most) every day i see my child happy,relax,calm.
which is it add or autism?cause there 2 different thingsI wouldnt tell ur daughter if i were u that she has add unless its diagnosed properly.Ive been through it my mum took me to a quack dr who rushed us out the door and gave me ritalin which made my eyes crossed and did nothing.she has also put in an excursion letter that i have add which i dont and hate her for it and will never forget that incident she wrote it again once i liquid papered it.
All too familar, my grandson is 3, and autistic. He was diagnosed early, but still wears diapers and must touch everything in the room. He looks past you, then if he is out side, runs like hell. My daughter has her hands full, but we love him all the same.
We wish you the best of luck, we know a lot of families with diaper problems. Our daugther used to run in shopping centres, never looking back. so instead of tieing her up we made a game out of it and ran with her, chasing her. after several months she got bored of it and stopped it herself. our little one used to have no eye contact either, but i think spoiling her and giving her lots of attention helped a lot with connecting with us. now she looks right into our eyes.
@IstanbulRider /watch?v=F4XMlhCfp3Q whatc this. It is about an autistic girl who could not communicate until she was 14. And she explains why she can not have eye contact. Very intressting. And teshakkur Rahmet for the vid!
Wow what an improvement Dilara well done..My 3 year old son Ege has signs of autism aswell he will be examined by specialist next week. He does that rocking and singing movement ,has no eye contact ect. Were I live there isn't much awareness of autism.We as family were not aware of this special condition either..For the past week I have been searching the net for infomation..At least I have an idea about this condition thanks to the information and videos all have shared:)
Hi i've just seen your message, how did you go with the specialist? has he got language / communication? can he think and come up with imaginary play or is it copied from other kids and repetitive in nature? has he got constipation / diaheria (sorry don't know how to spell this one)?
my 2 year old son does the same but has to pull down the door and then close it...he must do it at least 30-40 times same with cupboard doors...well actually any door he can find!!!
yes he only plays with things that he can put away, does not like loud noises and crowds and screams when we do not go down certain roads or car parks....how about your little girl..any other symptoms?
exactly the same, hates loud noises and crowds, she needs (maybe i have to say demands) things the way she's used to. she wants full attention all the time, and likes to talk about a certain subject over and over again (only since she started talking). over sensitive to sight and sounds, undersensitive to smell and taste, there's lots more in different areas, both behavioural and medical, like low tolerance to certain foods...

@shivey40
that's when we got the official diagnosis, although we noticed the changes in her when she was 1 yr old. does your son display any other symptoms?
