I was at their first show in May of 1981 when they were known as the Dick Clark 5. It was at an art show in SA. They came along way between then and their shows that evolved through the 80's. My 14 year old son found some of my BHSurfers vinyl and got turned on then insisted I take him to this show. It was a great time.

I'd have to agree man. There is nothing I hate more to see at a live concert these days than people holding their phones in the air. GodDAMNIT that pisses me off, it's happening right now. Even gibby was complaining about it at the webster hall show.

I didn't use my cell phone because like you said, it's pretty hard to get a good picture on one. But my girlfriend had a very expensive digital camera/recorder with her, about the size of her palm, and her video/pictures are great. We haven't watched it on a big television or screen yet but I have faith that they will still look pretty damn nice.

It's a whole new generation of butthole surfers fans so you're kind of forced to roll with the changes, you know. There were a lot of youngsters.
