People need to stop cooperating with any representative of any level of government. Peaceful civil disobedience can be a powerful tool. Most people think that if they haven't done anything wrong then they should cooperate but until we rein in our government, RESIST and QUESTION everything.

We went to a local state run gun range and I noticed the range officer was looking really close at all of our weapons. He was asking questions and then looked at our cars . I then see him in his little hut making a phone call. Probably was reporting us to some DHS database . State gun ranged are patrolled by Michigan DNR which has LE powers.
We had two RRA AR-15's, one Rem 700, a FN PS90 with100 round clips, one 9mm and one FN five-seven handgun.

@jdepratti: The laws and courts decisions are vastly different between a DUI checkpoint, a TSA checkpoint, and an Internal Border Patrol checkpoint.
Even the authorities behind each are different:
DUI = State and local authorities set up.
TSA = Transportation Safety Administration controlled.
B.P. checkpoints controlled.
Another example. At DUI checkpoints, officers can require a driver to show an operator's permit in my state. B.P. agants cannot require me to do a thing, except stop.

If he would of pulled this they would expect he's under the influence. Does it truly affect ur life that much? I'm just curious.? At an airport. Agents here need consent or probable cause to continue a detention or search here, not just a hunch.
Airport checkpoints are completely different that these type of checkpoints so do not make a good comparison.
