The group has done performances here, however at least up until recently attendance was not nearly as high as their European engagements (where they are very very popular). I think in an interview she said they were having some difficulty getting good penetration and radio play in the states.

there are many artists that can sing the words and most of us can relate to the experience, but I think its a very rare handful that can truly convey the honest emotion through the music itself. You can actually feel the emotion of this experience in her voice, it moves you in a way you really can't explain

What a fascinating and talented person

She can sing high, low, up tempo, down tempo, all with absolutely flawless clarity, pitch and resonance

and unlike so many modern acts she doesn't need a Wall of Sound or a mountain of technical enhancements behind her to sound like this - in fact she may actually sound her very best when she sings with little or no backing at all

I think most folks would be totally shocked if they heard what other artists would sound like if they tried this.

I just finally got the CD! I know horrible but economy sucks and I don't have a job. Plus they're not very popular or played much in America or at least where I live. I listened to this song first time on CD while reading the lyrics and singing last night and I cried. Before I wouldn't but almost did. This time I did. You just have to love this song. Everyone has gone through something like this in their life. At least be turned down in some way or treated like crap by someone you love dearly.

I've noticed something very unusual about her. When she sings her British accent is clearly preserved in the music. With almost every other English or Australian act the accent seems to be totally lost when they sing.
