Pokemon up to about 2003 was amazing. Sadly nothing will match up to the originals. RIP Pokemon. :(

While I'll admit that the newer Pokemon games are really good, nothing will beat the older ones for the reason that they were the first. The TV series is getting a little messed up, though. But hey you never know. Maybe sometime soon they'll make a huge twist to the series or something that'll get the older veiwers to watch again. I remember my mom would take me and my brother to Toys R Us to get more cards and then we'd come home and show them to all our friends on our col-de-sac. .... :'(

1 Gen was made of WIN! Second was made of 99% win 1%Super Win. It also shat win. 3rd Gen only 30% Win sadly most of it was not win. 4th Gen 50% Win they captured some of the good of 1st and second gen but only enough to be half win... I just hope 5th Gen will be good or if it's just gonna stay shity...

I disagree about it going down hill. Diamond/Pearl really brought life back into the series... Ruby/Saphire were real low points for the series.

Since GSC showed the problems of compatibility they planned to make another series, but it would have compatibility on a wider scale. (The advance series)
