I believe... Galactus in his original run.. wasn't as powerful a character as he was in the 70's 80's 90's and he isn't as powerful as he was in the 90's cause every chump marvel toon has taken him out to make a name for themselves without use of IF Gauntlet. so I don't know depending on the "Moron" or "Writer" as marvel calls them today. Apocalypse could beat Galactus on given day they choose.. sad but true..

I know a bit about the figures. Not the characters.

The figures in on the card backing are, without looking at one for reference, not prototypes.

They're either variants (which explains why they'd be different from the ones I have) or they're enhanced via Photoshop.

They don't take the prototypes of figures and use those as stock art on packages. That would make absolutely no sense at all.

I wanted the Apocalypse figure and found a good deal on the entire set so I went for it.

Just to set the record straight: The blue limbed Apocalypse came 1st, but it was an error on the factories part. Halfway through production, there was a running change, and Apocalypse was altered to the correct, black limbed color scheme. I don't think one is any more rare than the other. Also, your Apocalypse must be defective. I have the blue one and all 4 knee joints are ratcheted.

Hopefully I will be able to complete my Apocalypse figure soon (I have the last one, which happens to be that leg without ratcheting) coming in the mail soon. (Video has already been filmed) Brood Queen Apocalypse Complete but some pieces haven't arrived yet: Galactus (Two pieces) The Blob (Four pieces) Sets I've started but are nowhere near done: Annihilus Giant Man Onslaught The ones that aren't done most likely won't get done for a while though. I've wasted too much money on these figures already.
