  • Iv'e seen it man. It doesn't work. There is no way it can beat any American Boxing style. I would be willing to put money on it, but hey if it works for you, thats cool.

  • Wing chun is a joke. It only works if the person your fighting is just gonna stand there, and hold there punch out for you. If you ever watch them spar, none of what they do works, and all that fancy crap goes right out the window.

  • @southpaw12341 you must see real wing chun fight and not youtube sparing my friend :) peace

  • to bad in 1:00 he actually misses the application...

  • What I find most interesting about sifu sergio is that he is very good at explaining the theories and concepts. You see many video's where people just "show" techniques. I wish he would come to america and run a seminar. Thanks for another great video Sergio Sifu!

  • European wing chun uses far too much chain punching and misuse what chain punching really is and used for. All I see is when there is a gap 'oh see how fast I can chain punch!'

I have just started to learn the truth from moving to Asia.

Sergio is good but i will stick to wsl any day!

  • very nice demo ...of first form ...

  • The title is Siu Nim Tao applications... Funny I though just about every move in Wing Chun was a Siu Nim Tao application.

  • @INexasI and a elbow also siu nim tao?

  • @INexasl It starts with siu-nim-tau "little idea". Keith Kernspecht once said "Siu-Nim-Tau schlect (poor) - Wing Tsun schlect". Meaning if you don't understand and apply the principals of SNT, your wing tsun here forward will be poor. However there are more theories and concepts which are apart of a more grand view. Chum-kiu for instance is utilizing ways to bridge the gap, hence the kicks that are contained in the form, which aren't featured in any other form etc. More in Biu-Tze and dummy

  • you all talk way to much, dont talk that much. show your skill in a group of other martial artists. and prove their style and technics wrong. and you all should know. its not strength and power that makes you fight good. its how u think, and forsee the fight, how to ruin your apponents every moves. with a calm mind, and with flooding movements, then you can defeate even the most skilled masters.

  • great teach Iadarolla its a big master

  • talk, talk, talk

european guys are mostly talkative - white people are disabled in some way

asian people observe and repeat after the instructor...

total disaster are french, their mouth are never shut up, they fight with their tongue

  • @lopezrodriquez Hahahahaha so true

  • @lopezrodriquez So much stereotyping...

  • thats badass

  • This explains a great Mr., you are very fast, God I love martial arts.

  • The great Buddha at Lan Tau Island Hong Kong... great view from the top...

  • I heard you say "chain punch" about the time you were blitzing your opponent.

Note that a flurry of punches is not chain punching as they are understood in WC. In fact, such a flurry of punches could be seen in ANY martial art and therefore would not have any special status in WC they way that you have demonstrated.

Augustine Fong can clear you up on what constitutes WC chain punching.

  • @BobRawksBaby yes of course I know the name, but i think the way sifu does it its quite impressive, he is very fast and powerfull

  • Damn sifu sergio is fast !

  • In my opinion this is not a Siu Nim Tau application, that's Biu Ji. However, everything is connected, anyways.

  • what a View !!! where is this place ?. Great wall of china ? cool video too.

  • not sure why the attacker punch so low like that.

  • @maliciousdoc karate martial artist punch. wing chun teachers you how to defend and attack other forms of martial art styles....while others don't

  • @myfunkychannel I have never heard such a thing.

  • @BobRawksBaby chain punching with no pwer though

  • @jakobite1

Ye he needs to kick his student into a hospital.. get real :D

  • @jakobite1 If you volunteer, I'm sure he can demonstrate some chainpunches WITH power as well :-)

  • Kung Fu Tony Hawk!

  • Which lineage/tradition type Wing Chun is Sifu Sergio teaching?

  • @anotherface93 - his is coming originally from Leung Ting Wing Tsung - but has gone on and studied many of the different lineages thereafter. His original root is WT though.

  • @itsfiguredout he doesn´t use leung ting stuff anymore .....

in my opinion now he is better than leung ting ...... its only my opinion

  • @oyamarovic Well to be honest, Leung Ting teaches the traditional 1.02 Version of Wing Chung.

    :p

So I won't be surprised if this Sifu teaches version 2.xx

Hell, I've been using the Wing Tsun ver.2.0141 (EU), Now thinknig of going to a rollback with the Sifu Samuel Kwok

    to a ver.1.8 (Hong Kong).

But no matter the version, the Core theory of Wing Chung is in every one and is what links us all as one family of the Wing Chung/Wing Chun/Ving Tsun/Wing Tsun lineage! Greetings from Hong Kong! :]

  • @onizukademongto That was possibly the greatest comment I have ever read on youtube! Thank you my wing chun brother (or sister) haha! :P

  • @anotherface93 a better question is, does he know what he is doing, and is his skill effective and efficient. once you get the answers to those questions, you would know you are dealing with the real deal. lineages or where he came from means nothing....

  • so poor that black shirt guy

  • 00:32 sifu trademark fast hands to the neck, cool

  • Hey Guy! one Chinese word on your T-shirt is wrong, Wing Chun's Chinese words is 《詠春》but not《永春》

  • @klsuperman That is absolutely correct. In traditional Chinese Wing TSun we teach that the characters which make up the Chinese language are closely linked to the philosophy side of martial arts. As a Master it is very important to lecture students about that.

  • @klsuperman many lineages use this alternative spelling.

  • Do more videos in HK

  • now, that super fast attack from the beginning was excellent. When can i move my arms like you Great Sifu Sergio, i still need a lot off experience, and not only...

  • thanks! very useful technique.

  • the entry is already very good, it creates a shock effect and uses the body forward movement, if the opponent is a light weight unexperienced fighter, the follow up is not even necessesary, he would back off.

  • ahahah watch 0:30 ahahahah

  • Nice Clip, actually love all your clips on your channel keep up the good work for the wing chun world!

  • The hand will not slip up and over unless the strik was a dummy or non commited. In anycase the simultaneous strike would have done its job. The reality is that this is not a practical Wing Chun technique If there was a weapon involved ? Or do we have 2 techniques depending on the senario ? Bottom line its a marketing clip to fill space.

  • @kungfucritic Is there anyone saying, this video is for weapon-attack-defence? well, I haven´t heared. Like my Sihing sayd: If you notice your opponent has a weapon; get away quickly or get anything to use as one by yourself. If he carries a weapon, he may be skillful in using it, so defending with your bare hands may be very dumb and dangerous.

  • @Lykaon69 No-one said it was a weapon-attack-defence which is why i said "if". So what happens if you dont notice your opponent has a weapon in his hand ? Sometimes we just dont know whether someone is holding a weapon or not, so our techniques should reflect this. I stand by my original statement.

  • @Lykaon69 Wing Chun does not differentiate between armed or un-armed. Not all knife attackers advertise the fact they are holding a knife so if the technique is sound then it should not matter. If you watch the vid you will see Sergio missing the abdomen when he is in full flight ! What he should have demonstrated was control of the opponents elbow space in his Gan Sau technique.........like i said before a clip to fill space.....nice backdrop though !

  • Regards to all, I invite to visit their Y channel subcribirse
