@gladiators16PSN nah, we only had 7 minutes, and we wrote an 8 and a half minute song we already wrote, so since we were going over a ton already when we broke out into Selkies we started at the start of the jazzy solo, we went over our time by a good 4 minutes but seeing as the other acts were pretty much random guys playing acoustics for the sole purpose of trying to get popular with women, the people running it didn't seem to mind lol
@CaptainToasteh Thanks! Ken, I, and our friend Pat (drummer) are doing the solo section of this for our school's "Live at the Lounge" event along with an 8 minute experimental metal song we wrote, should kick some serious ass
@freakinsweet830 Are you doing the clean solo as well, or just the heavier part of the solo? Regardless, if you play like this, you'll totally kick some ass.
@CaptainToasteh clean too, so pretty much the last 2 and a half to 3 minutes of the song, Ken's band is called Procreator and their EP "Depictions" is on Itunes (there's two Procreators on Itunes apparently) and I'm also playing guitar at their next 2 shows and the drummer is in a symphonic metal band called Shield of Wings, and thanks for the compliments, they mean a lot :D
