i used to hate fleetwood mac and one day my mom played this and i was like who the hell is this, and she said lindsey buckingham and i was ecstatic , now i know he can fucking rock
@gothnsincity If you only were there 30 years ago... then you would have seen what you think you're seeing now. By 2009 its a repetetive parody of the instinctual interpretations what he were doing back in the day. NO offense, yer obvioulsy a yungun, but the fact you like this is good, really good... don't be dishaertened.
I just got back from watching the band play in Dallas and OMFG one of the best, most energetic shows(even at their age!) I've ever witnessed in my life. It really rivals my favorite concert (Tool). Obviously these guys know how to work the crowd and really express a lot of emotion because I was overwhelmed with joy throughout most of the concert. If you have the chance please see these guys, you won't regret it!
I just saw them tonight in Orlando. Great show! I don't give a flying F if Lindsey's voice isn't up to what y'all think it should be! I didn't know this song, and I thought it was the best of the whole show! Amazing guitar, and his voice has a gravity and depth of emotion that it couldn't convey when he was younger. He also rawked those skinny jeans for a 60 yo. I'll bet he's still great in the sack!
Give them credit for continuing to tour at their age, with their history. You've gotta figure even rock stars must get tired of the road eventually. And clearly his voice is straining, and his fingers probably dont move as fast as they used to, but they still sound aweosme... kudos to Fleetwood and shame on all you haters.
Whether or not Lindsey's voice is gone wouldn't matter to me. The man could have no voice and I'd say he sounded amazing. Any of you that can play and sing like that together at once, you are allowed to criticize-- the rest, shut up
Yep, Lindsey's voice is pretty much declining right now. I still love the guitarwork in this but I miss the power in his voice he had in the Dance and earlier.
Lindseys voice is done i think. He can't do it anymore. you listen to his voice in 1997 compared to now, hes voice has gave in. Mind you, he can still play guitar!!! :-) come back to Australia guys!
any version of "i'm so afraid" is good in my book but i do agree with the last two comments. i do enjoy the 2003 version the best because this one is more low key. i wonder if they still do the jam intro to it thats a minute long. i realllly hope that hasnt been done away with.
I have seen this version of "I'm So Afraid" so many times. I prefer the 2004 incarnation from the Say You Will tour. That being said, it is still amazing to see Live.
This is AWESOME!! Thanks for posting this!! I was at this show last night!! I was sitting in the third row (Lindsey's side of the stage)!! This song was one of the highlights for me. (:

Lindsey's voice is still amazing at the 60's
as always be.
My favorite version of this song was in fleetwood mac live 1980, but he still sing
fantasticly. For those critics... i would like to see him singing any buckingham song.
