I'm sorry, I know this can be a stupid question for you, but for me it isn't: How can you put the engine on on that bomber (1:25) ? I tried to press "i", but it doesn't work. What should I do? PLEASE ANSWER!!! Thank you.

By pressing "I" you start all engines together.

If you want to start single engine you have to set it in game controls. In this video I just pressed "I" but this old TB-3 bomber is starting very slowly, engine by engine.

Another problem may be in difficuilty you are playing. So, check your game controls, settings and difficuilty thats all i can advice

i never used the heavy bomber campaign mode on il-2 any more after i tried one mission. Those bombers are so painfully slow, even with x8 speed it takes ages for the plane to reach the target.

I agree with Robby, the old gun cam bit looked good... those really are the worst bombers on the game though... the Sherman tank was nicknamed the Tommy Cooker by the Germans and the "Ronson" by the Brits, Ronson matches "always light first time"... for the Russians these bombers were flying death traps... apart from bombs they also carried fighters slung under each wing too! No wonder the Germans nearly won ha ha!

Those were the best bombers in 1930-1935.

During World war two they were outdated and useless. But they were still used for carrying I-16 fighters or paratroopers

For the Russians I suppose your right, didn't they carry the paratroopers strapped to the wings and they had to slide off to start their descent? Or is that some dodgy footage of a Ju52 I have seen somewhere?

Even in WW2 they had little else as big as these bombers, the Pe-8 came close but of course the Russians never really went in for carpet bombing so stuck to smaller medium bombers, IL-4's, DB-3's and such... a harder target for when I'm in my Bf109 G-6 ha ha.

Plus in the 40's those bomb sights were actually pretty accurate. Also the mainstay of the Red Army was probably the Il-2 and the Pe-2 when it came to bombing runs. I like the Pe-2 myself for its ability to defend itself with speed.

hey haga...use more sophisticated video editors like sony vegas 7 or 8...(i use vegas 8)...

your editation will be much better and u will be able to edit your sound(at last the suficient 4 a good soundtrack changing in the middle of the video)
