Sorry previous post twice! The Blazers seem to have a few guests playing with them here - including the great Phil Cunningham on accordion. Their line-up has changed somewhat since then and is now Allan Henderson, Iain Macfarlane, Catriona Macdonald and Bruce MacGregor on fiddles, Anna Massie on guitar and fiddle and Andy Thorburn on piano. So 2 female fiddlers indeed!

Brilliant - the point of Blazin' Fiddles is that they come from different parts of Scotland and each plays solos in the style of his/her own region, as well as making brilliant music together. Shetland fiddler Catriona MacDonald is a longstanding member of the group, not sure who the other is, possibly Jenna Reid.

Brilliant! And the point of Blazin' Fiddles is that the group contains top fiddlers from different parts of Scotland, each playing solos in the style of his/her own region, as well as all making great music together.

Nice fiddling, as always... however one gets tired of hearing this style... because it seem diversity in the fiddling universe is diminishing by too much people learning this style of fiddling?
