I have a bad reaction to rice since I started the gluten free diet (diagonsed with Celiac disease 7 months ago). My doctor said that he never saw a reaction to rice. I wonder if researchers are not too focused on the STAR: Gluten... Although I'll be happy to take a pill right now in order to be able to eat good bread and cakes, I'd still be worried about my intestine's reaction to other grains.
@MrWCMartiniv My friend just made a post on something she saw online about a potential cure for gluten intolerance and celiac disease that seems to work for just about everyone with gluten issues. I don't know about it's 'true' validity, however I'd say it's worth at least looking into. Leave your comments on this hot topic! She'd like to hear of your perspectives at

How about ALL grains!? Many with Celiac's and Gluten Intolerance remain ill because they have a reaction to ALL grains not just barley, wheat, rye, oats. Start looking at all grains.

what about for people who have both the HLA DQ2+ and HLA DQ8+ gene status? How will that work, and what is the likelihood of that being effective?
