I'm not proud of ACT's anti science stance on climate change. But the fact is, NZ's ETS will destroy our jobs, cost families at a time when they need every dollar, and all for no good. Our ETS wont affect the climate change policy of any other country, and NZs emissions are negligible on a worldwide scale. Why should we maim ourselves for absolutely no gain at all? Feel good policies aren't justifiable. If the US/China signs an ETS, then we are obliged to. Until then, this is aimless stupidity.
