Is there any point using Nina once you have Bleu?

Yes there is. I forgot but Nina gets a spell that Bleu does not WAY later. Why not have Bleu AND Nina? What I always did. Course it made it way overpowering lol.

Nina in her final form (The Angel) is really useful in the last dungeon. Her ability Banish makes enemies flee. Saves you trouble of running (which misses a lot).

Deis is easily one of THE best characters in the game. She has the highest stats, save for Guts, without needing to use ANY of the stat boosting items. She naturally maxes them out, with VERY high HP and 511 AP.

I believe why you don't have all the party members available is because that is your "current" party, or the characters that you have with you at that time and not when you talk to a dragon statue. Is it just me or does Spar resemble a Neutrino from the first Ninja Turtles series?

As it has been mentioned, Bleu knows Death. Death works on A-Sludges, the attack items from Guntz will kill the Chorkings and you can wear down the Gongheads via attacks.

She has death. USE DEATH. There are a surprising number of enemies which are weak to death. Even really powerful ones towards the end (mammoth enemies, for one).

Breath of Fire II was one of those games where alot of stuff doesnt make sense at first but eventually you find out what its all about.
