I've only seen her live 6 times.... shes fucked up lyrically majorly twice. This was one of them. I love when she fucks up because it reminds me that as wise as she is shes still human. BTW Ive seen her fuck up and not own up to it also. but covering so well. I asked others if they noticed and they did not. LIke if you check the vid of the philly show for spark notice 'trusting that there is a woman in there somewhere,' instead of doubting. and no she says doubting at every other show
That is probably intentional - moving from "doubting" to "trusting" in spark. Spark was originally about her miscarriage - she alters lyrics as she deems fit. It is logical to move from "doubting" to now after the birth of Tash "trusting." I heard her sing "maybe she's just pieces of me *I've* never seen" at the end of tear in your hand and I didn't think for a minute it was a mistake.
Idk like i said the next one is philly and she had it right there... and im sure you guys have seen her mess up the lyrics dozens of time like i have. in fact this tour she had sooooo many papers on her piano with the lyrics it was insane.. she must have had the lyrics to nearly every song.
I think what threw her off is that there was part of an extra "down to" sample just before she starts singing "I'm glad your on my side". The sound person cuts it off partway through but it's very audible in the Legs & Boots version.
