The best combination of the Phantom and Christine is undoubtably Rebecca Cain, and Colm Wilkinson.

Many other beautiful singers such as Sarah Brightman, but on this song, no one transitions the high notes so smoothly as Rebecca. A diva in her own right.

She is fantastic... as a kid I saw her and calm wilkinson in phantom in Toronto at least 5 times, and they were the best out of every phantom/christine ever on stage!

I grew up listening to Rebecca Caine on the Original Canadian Cast recording of Phantom.. she's always been the only true Christine to me, and it's lovely to see that after so much time has past, my constant inspiration and role model in regards to singing, is still able to sing as true to this song, as she had done so many years ago <3

Finally a live version of Rebecca Caine singing this song. I saw Caine in Toronto a gazillion times and have crowned her the definitive Christine. Now I have stumbled to this and the memories of her fantastic performance come flooding back. This is the way this song needs to be sung. Thanks for posting this.
