@CorruptNwa yeah the LM1's are a straight through design. In my honest opinion if you're going to go LM1's, then just cut the mufflers off. thats what i did to the mach. if you search "Mach 1 in traffic" or "Mach 1, 66 Mustang, mark viii" you'll see and hear my Mach 1.
Just got this setup on my Cobra, mine seems alot quieter than yours though. I have longtubes on my car as well, maybe the LM2's just need time to break in? Not really sure kinda confused as to why the cars not louder
@ThreePointThree do you have cats? and if it's IRS their exhaust piping seems to be a bit louder. I have a mach 1 with straight pipes now and my cobra was just as loud. maybe a little quieter.
nah didnt have the crackle or popping too much. Sometimesd when I would be shifting at higher RPMs and i let off and then hit the gas pedal again it POP really loud due to the fact 99 cobra's would run a little more rich than normal.
I had a UPR o/r x and flows on my 99 cobra and in person it sounded bad. I had to change the x pipe out because of the drone and crackle/backfire. do you get that?

hey since you have lm2's..... if you had a chance to swap them with magnapacks would you think that would be a good decision, or do you prefer lm2's over the sound of the packs! just curious because thats the two catbacks i'm deciding to go with!
