Working on behalf of prisoners and their families in the State of Georgia is the work of peace and equality. Not providing for the basic needs of human beings and ignoring the abuses that are taking place is a testament to what our society is surrendering in the way of common decency. We must demonstrate our humanity by demanding that our elected officials correct these violations of human rights NOW!

I definitely would like to to see more on This issue, from this kind of perspective. There seems to be a significant disproportion in the Area of power and authority to justice and rights if you look at the "#'s" of abuses to the # of persons allegedly abused by Authority, receiving a favorable decision under law. It may be due the lack of Independent perspective in reporting.

prisoners locked down at Baldwin State prison yet were threatened by wardens, unit manager glenn and sgt snow that all there store phone and property would be taken away if they refuse to work at the sweat factory. On Dec 9th the prison was locked down . There is no rehabilitation in georgia prisons. Rape is rampit, contraband comes from guards. Officers make fun of mental health inmates and sleep on the job.
