  • GREAT message! You rock lady. LOL! Now you know why you don't need the silly singles sites. GRIN!

  • Oh, you have no idea...the stories I could tell...

  • I'm single this Valentine's day and I'm happy about it. I've had a few relationships that just didn't go well and before those I thought I'd only be happy when I had a boyfriend and someone to love me. But from these relationships I realised that the only person I needed love from was myself so this year I'm putting a hold on guys and just re-discovering myself and becoming a better me... hopefully! :)

  • Ahh, the wisdom of experience speaking.....

  • And I'm only 19...! Haha! (Well 20 in like 10 days! ah!) I love your videos :)

  • I'm single, as are a majority of my close friends, so we usually just watch some sappy chick flicks on V-day. That's always fun!

And although there are times I can't help but wish I had a guy in my life, I also see advantages of being single at this point. I just try to remember that it's all in God's time, just like everything else!

  • What "sappy" chick flicks would you recommend?

  • I don't even know where to begin! I guess some of my favorites are No Reservations, P.S. I Love You, 27 Dresses and Just Like Heaven, but there are plenty more that I have seen and loved also! Pretty much anything that has you crying tears of both sadness and joy at one point or another!

  • I've only seen one of those, 27 Dresses. Please do add more as they come to you.. I think I need to see those! Thank you for the follow up! I appreciate it.

  • ,,,continued...and OMG on the dating site thing. Those places scare me! I'd rather go to speed dating events and go that route!! But I tell ya', I been trying to train my man for 31 years...and I don't know if I could ever handle another if I was of single status. I just don't think I'd have the strength...roflmao.

  • Hang on to him if he's a keeper, it's crazy out there. Hence, why I remain single for now.

  • He's a keeper 51% of the time....he's getting to be a booger bear as he ages....and if he keeps it up, he's gonna be reverting back to gonig outside and cutting his own switches again! ROFL

  • My dad's getting to be a grump too as he ages. I just don't put up with it, I tell him he's being one! It's a physiological thing in their brain I think.

  • My children used to do the Valentines party at school when younger and I would always get them their favorite candy or a stuffed animal. My hubs and I really don't partake in the holiday as I'd much rather be surprised one of the other 364 days of the year instead of EXPECTING or being commanded to do something on the day. I prefer to think of the lonely seniors in a retirement or nursing home...or those terminal patients in hospice or hospitals and spread love to them.

  • I have always wondered...what do you do for a living? PS How many kids do you have and how old are they? Oh yea, and are they boys or girls? I know lots of questions. Just something I have been wondering about

  • That was very positive Vlog. 5 star for the profile title and description :-)) Now you need a data mining program to analyze the submitted profiles :-) You rock Dianne.

  • Aww, thank you! My marketing and journalism background won't leave me....I still get tickled when I come up with a title that rocks. Thanks for noticing. YOU rock!

  • I got an email saying they had no idea what i was saying. I get that alot. And i've been feeling less than popular lately. I also felt it was a good idea to stop communicating with a particular youruber. Because they went silent, but i still believe this person is awesome. I was concerned i miss typed on an earlyer email to you. Its Impossible for anyone to believe but.. Im thinking nice thoughts but my hands are leaving the recipient the option to figure out what i meant. By then its to late.

  • I think you worry about things too much. It's YouTube, not the White House. Relax and just enjoy the experience. I never get upset with your comments or your misspellings, big woop. Keep on thinking nice thoughts, your intent is the main thing.

  • I still have a few of the valentines from grade school with my childhood possessions. My Grandma would buy them after Valentines at 50 percent off and keep them until next year lol!! She has always been cheap like that. Also the same with easter egg dying kits. If I had kids I would do the same i admit. But I was always about the candy I didn't care for the valentines. This is the first year I have a gf on valentines so I am very happy about that. I am having a lot of firsts with her.

  • I used to LOVE those Valentine parties! Those were awesome! We'd put a little card and a roll of SweeTarts in the paper pouch each kid made that hung on the back of their classroom chair. It was so cool. I'm afraid that many of us (myself included) have had many a V-Day put a bad taste in our mouths. But we have to turn the page at some point and decide to make a positive day with something new! Single people could go back in time and tape a V-card on all their neighbor's doors :)
