Well, there needs to be some sort of universal language anyway. It don't necessarily have to be English, but we need one. Having a conversation between 20 different languages just doesn't work.
Esperanto is spoken by 100,000 to 2 million speakers. English is spoken by over 2 billion people. One out of four people speak English worldwide. What's the sense in making such a drastic change?
My point is; there is 6,800 known languages. Only 2,261 have written systems anyway. We need to find a common-ground. Since 1/4+ people already speak English, or at least comprehend it to a certain degree, I feel it's the best language to use.
First and foremost, if something is accepted by most people by default and surcomstances, doesn't mean it is THE choice to keep.
Second, it is time for scientists to use the benefits of all languages, in a sense that there is no doubt that there could be created excellent (in all fields), new language, and than it should be teached to small children worldwide...

Government forces the relative value (in compared to their economic strength) to be around half of what it should actually be worth. This makes it much more cheap to buy goods from china, which is why they are such a big exporter of goods.

Well it actually has more to do with big corporations than government. As every currency is backed by actual gold, meaning for every dollar you have there is actual gold to back that up somewhere in a reserve. China has more more "gold" than paper money compared to the West. Wal-Mart, Nike and other big corporations are keeping the RMB low so they can pay manufacturers less. The American Consumers and tourists also benefit.
Renminbi Yuan is not even close to being the most undervalued currency.

military spending is not the only factor involved in whether or not a war would be won. The fact of the matter is, the united states only has a certain number of troops, which must be rotated. Unless the united states wants to bring out its big guns (ie. nuclear weapons) then a war between only a few nations would put an immense drain on the american army. Many beleive this is why we are currently not at war with iran.
