I think this album signaled the end of the end of Disco, and open the door to Garage music. High energy music was around and evolved to be Techno. Yet... the music industry and artist of the time managed to give us more funk/disco tunes. The Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, and other bands took over and continued filling up our hearts with memories of our 30's... Music is a gift.
