I'm so happy for you!!!! I had an interview Tuesday & it was quite the experience. Initial interview in front of a panel of 3 followed by an hour long written essay test. It's so great that they called you almost immediately so you don't have to wait to hear something from them. It'll be exciting when you put in your notice. lol

I worked with State & Federal Specs so know very little about Municipal. I'm supposed to hear something the 3rd or 4th week in May because it has to be reviewed by city Manager, etc. Red tape flying everywhere!! lol

Opportunity to move up may be worth the cut. Cut now, more later. I saw your reply to Imperceptibleme and that's what I was going to suggest trying for, that way they get a chance to see you work before committing to more money while you're training.

When I was tearing out a wall I found a picture that was likely an unflatering drawing of the boss on one of the studs :)
