It was intended to get Christianity "up and rolling" - to give Christianity (known then as "The Way") a boost. Only very seldom has the Holy Spirit seen fit to work these types of miracles in modern times (actually, the number of instances are great, but the percentage is not very large). Please be careful to not criticize what you don't understand.

You come in as a freshman and stay 4, but the actual nursing portion starts in your sophomore year. It's really competitive to get into.
