What kind of paper did you use? I did the same drawing on my deviantart page (drawdrawrevolution is my screenname if you'd like to see it)

I used black cardstock because it was available and a white charcoal pencil. The cardstock had too much texture, so blending sucked. It was done hastily as it was just an experiment (30 mins). Do you have a brand recommendation for smooth black paper? I don't know what to use for future drawings.
