He did such a HORRIBLE job... Fuck.. He wasted so much of the meat, you should have brought the catch home and clean them yourself. He's just showing off you that he can clean fish quickly, but in reality, he can't clean fish for shit! Don't ever go fish with them again and get your fishes cleaned by them.. Geezz.. such rip off. =.=
I have a great dish using Blue fish. And it is made by Pyrex.... LOL
Wait wait wait.
I have a recipe for fantastic blues First take a aged oak board soaked in 100 year old red wine. Then preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place the fish on the board and bake for 4 hours. Take the fish off and throw away the fish and eat the board. I promise it will taste better than that fish will on it's best day!
Vulcan1429, I understand what you're saying. But I've been fishing all over with my nephew. He has seen many different species of fish. Very rare now a days I know.
Why can't you guys feel something for that kid. He will never see our precious ocean the way it was!. When I was a kid a trip like that would yield at least 5 species of fish. He will never see that in his life. Soylent Green...it's starting now...
@groffell123 no stupid look at all the meat he is wasting! typical of a stupid fuck like you go die I have more for you this time i'll shoot it up your gay little rebel ass!
YOU WEAR A MASK? LIKE A DOG,YOU ARE A PUSSY AND YOUR FAGGOT BROTHER HOOD NATION,stay down south because we will fuck you up bad here in the northeast, you vile stupid redneck,go fuck your sister and hitler's corpse too
wth? $9?? The boat I go on doesn't charge for the filleting... it comes free. They always keep a tip jar out though. I never have them fillet my fish but I still tip them for helping me get my fish out of the water
I never let them clean my fish, they always fillet the fish so there's meat left behind (they use the rest of the fish for crabbing/lobsters or sell it to crabbing/lobster boats)
yeah im not a big fan of blue fish. fun to catch but not to eat in my opinion. just like bonita/false albacore. everything i catch in fresh water goes back as gentle as possible to breed, feed and live another day.
you keep what YOU catch... if you get skunked then o well better luck next time, on some boats the mates will fish during the day, and what they catch will be given to those less fortunate. and a good tip if they gave you good service is about 10 bucks for a half day trip.15-20 full day
Uall pay to fish for blue fish -.- in florida where we fish just gotta find were their at and u can catch keepers all day last time i went we also caught spanish mackerel and saw some tarpon in the bay we where in.
I cant wai tto go blue fishing this year. we went on a party boat last year for fluke and we got 2nd place and that pair out trip we were going to go again but we were short $5 lol
Also, Alway enter the pool they have. Its like a buck or something. At the end of the day of fishing who ever has caught the biggest/ heaviest fish wins.I have only won twice, first time my father did most of the word to bring in the blue fish for me and the other i was just barely strong enough at the time to reel em in until the guys came around with the Gaff (hook on a pole)). Again we preferred to bring food (KFC,soda, sandwiches).Ship food is good but lol my dad like to save his pennies :-).
My father and i use to go out fishing for blues on that ship. I was about that younge kids age (your son maybe?) when the fish cleaners there gave me my first job on the way back to bag the fish they clean. HAHA paid me about 15 bucks but the real money was made when i ask the people for a tip when i handed them the bag of fish. Its hard to tell an 11 year old no :-). In the end i mad 15 for the job it self and 55 in tips. This is a great way to spend a day with your kids/family. Bring food :-).
I have fished on the Hel-cat many times. Anyone get a striper? I enjoyed their night trips, although they rarely do those now. During the day my record is 5 blues, but at night I catch between eight and the ten blue limit. Maybe I'll see you out there this year.
haha alright man, that's great i was busting balls and you came off real cool i was just goofin man, any way good luck happynew year to you too, next year i'll have a boat too, just sent a massive truck payment to seal my fate in waiting 1 more year but who want'stoo many payments right? chris r marshfield mass
We thought the same thing when he was cleaning them. I guess it was because we were on our way back in and he had 6 other people's fish to clean. The fishing was great though. Happy New Year
@papakeetee You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. Guys like that clean thousands of fish a year and can do the job in mere seconds. My uncle was a commercial fisherman and he could clean a fish perfectly in a flash. It's simply a matter of experience.
I guess we should try and get our money back from the Hollywood film crew. Oh that's right, I filmed it by hand on rough water while on vacation with my nephew. Dick
Here what I do:Filet it they way hes doing it,but leave the skin on,and smoke it by putting the skin side on the grill, then once its cooked, the skin easily peals off
I believe it was the last weekend in October 2006. By chance do you have a good recipe for Blue fish? I've tried grilling it with lemon-pepper. It's not bad.
well actually, when we first catch the fish, we bleed it by cutting its throat as soon as it's caught. this makes the meat a lot whiter and better. then we also grill it sometimes with lemon. it is good.

You shouldn't be waisting all that meat you threw out. Only throw out the bones and the head you still had a lot more meat in-between the bones

That guy wasted a lot of meat when he skinned the fish. He should have slowed down. Nice video, though!

nice video, I may go fishing later this afternoon. It will be my first time on a charter boat.
The first mate or captain said they do clean the fish for you if you tip them, I wonder what a good tip is...
They let you keep what YOU fish for right?
Or do they take the grand total and split it ?
thanks

Bluefish are good smoked because they are oily. Remember the smaller have a better taste than the bigger ones.
