  • looks like somebody I know :p

  • How the hell did 6 people not like this

  • amazing

  • 6 people hate art after being critiqued and expecting a pleasant answer...

  • Where did you learn to draw like this?

  • 0:41

I would soo love to just get there rofl

  • Wow, amazing!

  • I bet he can draw his own porn

  • HOLY SHIT

  • At 0:20 I thought she was a woman from the '10s. At the end she looks more from the '80s.

  • wow you're amazing! do you do concept art for a living or anything? because this is incredible

  • Who the heck is StoryNclark what did he say and seeing as his comments were removed be negative votes, what could he have said that was so insulting? Could anything insulting possibly be said when this is SOSOSOSO good?

  • The person that pressed the DISLIKE button possibly

    1. is the StoryNClark guy..,

    2. missed the liked button

    3. just stupid..,

  • better then I could do

  • I wish she would have existed, shes hot

  • Attempt status: sucessfull and overpassing the rest of everything else.

  • Why does she have that look on her face? its like...fear

  • @Celinemooni Read the description.

  • Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you mirrored your image at 37 seconds?

  • Why must I be creatively retarded? =(

  • DAM UR GUD!!!!

  • idk, i think i would enjoy this more if the girl you drew looked prettier =)

  • 4 people are jealous.

  • A very ambitious goal, especially if you consider that the subject is the most difficult ever. People learn to interpret human expressions very early in life, and that skill progresses in time. Creating a convincing expression without it to look somewhat "weird" is a challenge even for the best artists around.

I like your work, keep posting.

  • she looks frightened, i think you meant to do this as it is in black and white. she looks like one of my friends lol

  • she looks kinda drunk, but man you are amazing!

  • hey! i could do this! it's so easy! but only in my imagination... haha!! XD

  • How did you draw that on a computer?

  • @StoryNClark I work as a commercial artist between the advertising and entertainment industries. Whenever the the term "photorealism" is used professionally in the work I do, (by clients, artists, art directors etc.) it simply means that the artwork has photo-real qualities to it. (i.e.- it can almost be mistaken for a photo. ) A real photo reference does not have to be involved in the process.

  • @cgsbgs

omg!!! i know you made this lady up from your mind, but imagine how someone would feel if this was a perfect image of them in real life somewhere in the world lol and they see you draw a perfect picture of them without ever seeing them!wow great job btw

  • @StoryNClark ...The term was indeed used in the context you are speaking, but it is one of those words that have multiple meanings depending on the way in which it is being used. The context in which it is being used here is 100% accurate to one of the definitions which happens to be (as I said) the most commonly used meaning of the word in the industry I work in. (...and there are dictionaries and sources that cite this use as one of the definitions of the word.)

  • @cgsbgs this is a good definition fight i dont know what the hell u guys are saying but i like ur picture hehe

  • @StoryNClark stop pretending like you know what your talking about.

  • @StoryNClark BURNNNNNNN

  • @TYLER8HALO I know. I got served. It hurts all the more because I'm right.

  • Thumbs up if you think StoryNClark is a twat!

This is the web equivalent of having a show of hands.

  • chris its great ur awesome =)

  • Her mouth is too narrow (the tips should line up with the centers of the eye), her eyes are too high on the head, crooked and bug out too much (which would be easy to fix), her left cheek bone is higher than her right (which can be fixed with a little high lighting), and her nose is too flat. Other than that, it could pass to most non-artists as photo-realistic. Not bad, not bad at all.

  • @StormCloudGriffin then i wouldn't mind if you could please post a video of you doing something like this please =) as you seem to be such an expert

  • @StormCloudGriffin I agree actually. The mouth doesn't seem very natural. If she was pursing her lips like that you would see the cheeks react as well. The left side of her chin is off as well (our right). Seems a little flattened and hard edged to the eye.

  • very fast drawing..nice

  • perfect

  • Well done! This is the true test. Its often a good way to see where improvements are needed in your skills and then honing them till they are perfect. Nice Job!!

  • wait.. what.. huh... it's not a photo.... she doesn't exsist.. *faints*

  • leonardo davinchi called and he is jealous!

  • wth was that at :53

  • Its sooo strange seeing someone that really does not exist:| man you really destroyed my brain with this!

  • @DrummerRF she looks like she exists, you think that she exists and she doesn't lol drives me nuts, too

  • bricks have been shat

  • Take a bow!

  • Great! , wow, amaising!

  • Now... you need to learn Lightwave or Blender and do the real 3d model just as fast! :)

  • She looks like my ex-gfs older sister. If this had been an attempt to paint her it had been really close!

God you are good! Hadn't seen you until a few hours ago, and I just can't stop gazing at your work! Marvelous pieces of art!

And I thought I was good at Photoshop! I guess I have to stick to creating music instead, hehe!

    You are the man, man!

  • this is fucking amazing but the hair really blows me away.

  • Very impressive brother. True talent you have.

  • hey everyone!

i just uploaded a video of an oil painting that took me 5 months to finish.

i would like to get some feedback on it. so if everyone that reads this could check it out and let me know what you think it would help me out! the video is called -- monumental oil painting- from start to finish. thanks everyone!

  • this just AMAZING

  • Come on, folks. Not everything is about proportion. Not everything has to be ideal. There are lots, and I mean LOTS of people in the world who doesn't fit in the ideal artistic proportions. In fact, very few probably does.

The proposition was photo realism. In essence, realism is opposed to idealism.

The artwork looks splendid to me.

    Congratulations.

  • Thats awesome, do you have a set of custom brushes you use to download anywhere?

  • arghhhh im so JEALOUS!

    your AWESOME man !

  • so nice

  • i dont get the concept of flipping the picture..can you explain that?

  • if you flip the pic, you actually see mistakes in proportion better. thats because you have to focus on the pic in a new way if you flip it, so you see more mistakes than usual. very helpful. also good when working on a piece of papier, to hold it against light.

  • thanks! i'll try that

  • imagine yourself as a withness of a crime and the police ask you to describe the bad guy and you go like, gimme a couple of minutes, and then you give them like this fotorealistic picture saying: he's the one :-D I'd so laugh

  • If this is genuinely done without reference, then it is awesome!

  • Don't mean this to be offensive, but the end result just disturbs me for some reason. I'm not saying that the portrait is bad; I think it is awesome.

  • right eye seems to be a bit too high according to the left, also i miss a bit of her right nose wing. but very nice. practice does pay off.

  • I know her!She is my aunt!

    Just kidd lol! Nice job.

  • nieźle...nice

  • Amazing

  • wow this is amazing lol! It looks really really good! and to know you had no reference just makes this that much more awesome!

  • i feel like the eyeline is a bit off compared to the entire thing, but absolutely amazing for no reference and better than I can do :D

  • Top work ..

  • Usually I would never comment on something unless asked, but this showed up in my youtube recommended area and I clicked on it. Sorry if I am a dickhead & my crits are so harsh. I have a strong background in art and also a very good eye for technical details. I am not saying you are lying about no reference, I just don't buy it on this one. I am sure you can do it, but this one is a bit odd. Look up photo lighting techniques, it will help you out. Also composition will help. good luck

  • Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I was just mentioning something that seemed weird to me. I already had some private discussions with the artist and he explained everything to me. This is my last response, because I don't want to ruin a thread with a bunch of bickering. You know how youtube can get. Again sorry for insulting you. Like I said, I am sometimes a bit harsh and I apologize.

  • Its not the lighting of a flash camera... Its called adding value.

  • I wonder how long it took him to make this

  • Reallyyy nice, but one of her eyes is well umm... Not emm... You know what I mean lool xD

  • my favourite part of these realism things is the hair, i dont know why, it just amazes me

  • I think its the detail

    its... amaazing :O

  • you just made a person XD

  • there are probably someone who looks like that out there.

  • that picture so good she looks fit...ello cheeky

  • thats pretty good

  • it lookes good and all but i want to request something.can you make someone who smiles? all i've seen in portraits is people who lookes ready to scream or who's parrelised.

  • it would be so amazing if this girl would actually exist somewhere in the world, and you would meet her...now that would be awesome :D FANTASTIC as always of course...great job

  • there prolly is someone in this world that loooks exactly like her HAHA....there jus mite :)

  • Seanathan your the dumbass

  • I'll call her.. Tiffany! LOL JK! xD

    Its awesome.

  • W-O-W!

  • the eyes make her look dazed still really good

  • This is great. You are great. The way you do everything is unbelevable

  • When it started to pan out, I was like, "That's a frickin photo!" The eyes are excellent.

However, the lower half of the face looks less real, especially her jaw.

  • i believe theres nothing wrong with this picture

i mean its art theres no wrong or right because its unique

if shes not proportional it doesnt matter because we all are

    we´re not perfect

i would critize you whenever i become better than you (haha i wish) not when i can hardly draw a person with circles and lines

you´re trully gifted honestly i wish i could be as good as you oeday or a little less it would still be ok :) take care

  • nothing in art is wrong. something as simple as one color splashed across a portrait... may have been an accident but it is still art.... do you know what i mean?

  • yeah i know and i agree

    its kinda what i meant

just that some people said that the eyes or whatever were not the same bla bla its wrong bla bla so yeah i hope you know what you mean

  • looks like brittney spears a bit

  • I think that her eyes are a bit too wide, but I still like it.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah I sort of agree with you. I think that if you do a painting, drawing etc. on the computer it just kind of ruins the point of it. I think its not as like treasurable. I mean, don't get me wrong you are really good but I would totally prefer doing it by hand.

  • I agree that the end result of a photorealistic digital from a reference photo is pointless, since you could just scan the picture and be done. But the real point is to build skills for things like this. And don't pretend it's easy just because the artist makes it look easy. (Try it!)

I have seen people who are really good with oil & acrylics but who can barely double-click a mouse, let-alone use Photoshop like this. Maybe it has something to do with what people spend their time practicing?

  • Sorry, but you have no idea.

  • i sort of wish she was real... so i wouldn't be freaked out by how freakin good you are... that's amazing.. alll the detail o___o

  • oh my. . .she looks exactly the same with my very close friend. . . .

  • REFERENCE PIC!

  • she's shiny!!

  • @1996nik12 people often have shiny skin ;) depends on lighting, and sweating tbh.

  • lol yeh i know. i was just joking around

  • wow.

  • You need to make police sketches. :)

  • this is what i call a TALLENT

  • this is what i call a hell a lot of HARD WORK and TRAINING and STUDYING

  • Blown away!

  • Yh its kinda eating at me to quick, shut your eyes aaaah!!!

  • Lol thought it was a photo befor i clicked on the video.

  • Great job! It must have been especially hard without a reference photograph!

  • this is propably a woman in his subconcious mind that he might have walked passed before and hasnt reallised

  • damn! i can't even comprehend the fact that this "person" does not exist!! waaaaaa

    5stars again and again!

  • Watching this kind of stuff makes me want to lock myself up with my wacom....

    Great job man, keep going

  • not fully perfect, BUT absolutely 99,9% perfect. a small shape disorder, (the right eye)

I don't understand why you didn't noticed while you did everything else so perfect.

  • maybe she has a lazy eye lol

  • what are you talking about?

    i see no problem!

eyes arent exactly symmetrical you know

  • I see what you mean. It looks slightly odd.

  • you mean its not quiet pointing in the correct direction? thats the only thing i could imagine is wrong with it. maybe about a billionth of a degree off.

  • You're the best!

  • holy shit!!! u have a gift man. major...MAAAAJOR props

  • I don't know what I can say after watching that... Amazing! Wonderful! Incredible! Impressive! Great!

  • Hmmm...how do we know he doesn't have some photo stashed somewhere of whoever this woman might be if she existed? HMMMM? :P

Good job either way...although is it just me or does some of the chin shading seem funky? I'm not art critic, but ah well.

  • omg how did you do that!!!??? seriously!! how did you get the detail on the lips and stuff!?? wowie 5 stars

  • Yes i also doing that thing, My problem is the shading, I'm still practicing of darker shades.

  • anjelina jolie + Brittney Spears

  • wow...you mastered art!

  • looks like a photo (:

  • wow.... it seriously looks like a real woman! great job! again!

  • you've some serious skill. i'd love to see you do some meaningful or symbolism based artwork rather than photo realism and dragons and werewolves. love it

  • legend ! thts amazing

  • You know what, I reckon that women exists somewhere!

  • Painting based entirely on the imagination... now that's a whole new dimension compared to painting with reference photos. Incredible job. 5/5

And I noticed you didn't use your usual method of starting on one eye as you did on your other photorealistic potraits. But you also achieved a great effect with it... great job and well done.

  • Holy cow...there's just no words for this...you're an amazing artist

  • woooooooooooooow

  • Man ... can you do a drawing of your dream girl? the girl that your mind thnks is the most beautiful you could possibly concieve?

  • i love it! she looks real and its from your imagination, great!

  • amazing drawing. how long did u practice with photoshop b4 u got this good. and did u use a mouse or tablet?

  • It's amazing in the first 20 seconds lol

  • WOW!!!! I LOVE IT!!! Okay so I know you weren't looking at anyones' face while doing this, but how did you get the hair texture?

  • wow u r so good i wish i can do that but i cant bc i dont even know how to photoshop a picture.

  • OMG I KNOW HER!!!!!!!!!!!!....hehe kidding:)

  • I'm righteously amazed! she looks so F-ing real!

  • genius

  • This was very well-made for something you did from your imagination. But her lips seems to be in a wierd angle to her nose and her left and right eye dont seem to belong to the same person. But it was a really good drawing and it gives like this ghost-feeling or something :D

  • well... i dont know. did you look at pictures and use merely lips from someone, eyes from another, or anything like that to assist? even still, its good but.. hard to believe that you hadnt glanced over a picture of a person to make youre youre getting a tecture right or something.

  • I admire you so much! :):) One day I'll be as good as you :)

  • count me in that dream..... Ü i wanna be as good as him too hehe

  • Chris, what's that command that you use at 1:17-1:18 to give the grainy texture to the girl's skin? Thanks!

  • Are you sure you didnt have a lil image of Jessica Alba in your head? ;)

    Awesome work dude!!

  • haha, a chubby jessica alba

  • Hahahah ur rite

  • F****** amazing..

  • sweet titty fucking christ, thats godslike

  • As a review of your art let's just say if you hadn't told me that person was ficticious and that this was w/out reference I'd probably think she was real..

  • damn! w/out reference! you sir are brilliant!

  • do u use default brushes for skin and lips? please tell me what brushes ur so talented!!!! great job

  • Oh man! No one I've ever seen can stand up to you when it comes to art. You're the reason I picked up drawing again. :D

  • I consider myself good at photorealistic painting, but I would have a real hard time matching this quality with no references!

    Great work!
