Surely there is some amputee somewhere in the world that has prayed over and over to be healed and surely deserves it, but it hasn't happened. Why do you think that is?

If a muslim is ordained by their congregation, it is as much authority as a catholic, or baptist, or any other religion, because unless it comes from Jesus Christ himself, the authority is not recognized in the kingdom of God to be sealed by the holy ghost for time and eternity, because it didn't come from the Government of God or the Priesthood. When I had my similar experience, a preacher asked me if i was ready, when I said yes, he said raise your hands and praise the lord, as i did, he touched his hand to my forehead, and I was paralyzed completely, but still conscious. I fell backward onto the floor unable to open my eyes or move for nearly 5 minutes.

Idk when people get the holy ghost in church it's only from the music and they most of the time don't fall out like that my goodness. When I had my first encounter with the Holy Spirit, I could barley talk. Every time I would talk my voice would get softer and softer. I even remember petting my dog, and he would barley move.

@vewashin All I can say is that things should be done decent and in order. Falling out and being out of control is not it! I experienced this situation this week when a lady who "caught the spirit" jumped around until she feel on me and almost hit my kid and landed on my glasses. I had to hem her up bc she was out of control. She came out from under "the spirit " immediately. I don't think that was God or his spirit. Jesus was never out of control and neither is his spirit.

Lets look at the evidence. The Word teaches that we know the tree by it's fruit. I have not ever been "slain" nor do I seek to. But I do know people who have and for all accounts it has not hurt them. Whether it bettered them or made them more spiritual I don't know. As a whole, I am in agreement that we should not seek activities & experiences not recorded in Scripture. We reduce God to an experience rather than day to day victorious living.
I can't say that I have completely stopped going to church. I just really know what the definition of 'church' really is. Which I am sure you know what I mean. Then I really started paying to the messages they preach on and they are not even about the stuff that really matters. I noticed that Jesus went crazy in the temple for the same stuff that I am seeing at these churches. I've never seen a choir in church, selling stuff in the book store,refreshments after services. In Acts, when the disciples caught the "Holy Ghost" they were NOT laughing, screaming, or shaking...., they were in 100% control of their actions through the Holy Spirit. If not then Peter wouldn't have been able to reply to the men mocking the disciples. What these churches aren't realizing is that the "Holy Spirit" GIVES us POWER, CONTROL, and UNDERSTANDING! NOT TAKE IT AWAY..., so obviously this is not the Holy Ghost.

Surely there is some amputee somewhere in the world that has prayed over and over to be healed and surely deserves it, but it hasn't happened. Why do you think that is?

He also said,"whoever does not recieve you, it shall be more tolerable for sodom and ghomorrah on the day of judgement then for that city." Jesus restored modern apostles through joseph smith which the book of mormon is proof.

If a muslim is ordained by their congregation, it is as much authority as a catholic, or baptist, or any other religion, because unless it comes from Jesus Christ himself, the authority is not recognized in the kingdom of God to be sealed by the holy ghost for time and eternity, because it didn't come from the Government of God or the Priesthood. If you look at the priesthood when john the baptist restored the aaronic priesthood he said he was sent by peter james and john.

@blazer4u20000a A similar event has happened to me, The holy ghost is the power of god that lives in all believers and is empowered by faith. It is god himself. When I had my similar experience, a preacher asked me if i was ready, when I said yes, he said raise your hands and praise the lord, as i did, he touched his hand to my forehead, and I was paralyzed completely, but still conscious. I fell backward onto the floor unable to open my eyes or move for nearly 5 minutes.

Idk when people get the holy ghost in church it's only from the music and they most of the time don't fall out like that my goodness. And when my pastor lays hands they just fall backwords they don't jerk, but they do speak in tongues sometimes.I believe the Holy Ghost moves like that but all that jerking idk.

However, the Spirit of the Lord will make you cry, run, jump, roll, shout, and spit if you fully submit yourself unto it. This woman may be receiving the gift, but I do not hear her speaking with other tongues so I can not say that she is or is not. I'm just saying the Holy Ghost will move you!

Talking in tongues is just one sign that a person has God inside. We need to test ourselves do we have the 9 FRUITS? @vewashin All I can say is that things should be done decent and in order. Falling out and being out of control is not it! I experienced this situation this week when a lady who "caught the spirit" jumped around until she feel on me and almost hit my kid and landed on my glasses. I had to hem her up bc she was out of control. She came out from under "the spirit " immediately. I don't think that was God or his spirit. Jesus was never out of control and neither is his spirit.

I don't believe that someone who is possessed, would be praising God, and thanking Jesus in the mist the Holy Ghost. If you have not experienced it, then who are you to say what God places in someone else. You don't have it, because you don't believe. I for one have just been filled with the Holy Spirit. Lets look at the evidence. The Word teaches that we know the tree by it's fruit. I have not ever been "slain" nor do I seek to. But I do know people who have and for all accounts it has not hurt them. Whether it bettered them or made them more spiritual I don't know. As a whole, I am in agreement that we should not seek activities & experiences not recorded in Scripture. We reduce God to an experience rather than day to day victorious living.

I can't say that I have completely stopped going to church. I just really know what the definition of 'church' really is. Which I am sure you know what I mean. I know I still got a lot to learn but after reading this 501 c IRS info to the fullest, I can see how it is beneficial for these businesses (churches) not to preach the word correctly. Then I really started paying to the messages they preach on and they are not even about the stuff that really matters. I noticed that Jesus went crazy in the temple for the same stuff that I am seeing at these churches. I've never seen a choir in church, selling stuff in the book store,refreshments after services. @MrRomans829 Yes I agree with you as well...., people want to uphold this "New Holy Ghost" movement as observed in the video above. When NOWHERE in scripture does it say that upon receiving the Comforter that someone carried on as this woman above! Like I said above, when someone except Jesus Christ they (((GAIN))) POWER, UNDERSTANDING, KNOWLEDGE, and CONTROL! Which is completely opposite of the "Holy Ghost" received in this woman above! The holy Ghost doesn't give u power over the holy Ghost, He gives you power over all the power of the devil! and when you are Seeking God the devil can't sneak in and hve u thinkg u got God when you actually got the devil. @lastoldlady Ah my friend..., it is really you who are missing it! First reason why you are missing it is because I never said that the Holy Ghost gives us power over the Holy Ghost. NEVER SAID that sweetie! And second, you are REALLY REALLY missing it by thinking that in the process of seeking God, Satan can't sneak in and make you believe you have God but you don't! It's call "counter fit" religion and it happens daily! And it's because people don't go off of straight bible truth...! Take care

@Vortex4001 I am glade you asked that..., Okay! Lets take it on a movie media level (make believe)! When someone in a movie lets say "the Exorcist" is possessed how do they carry on??? Now on a biblical level! When the guy possessed with a demon was approached by Christ did the demon have control over the boy, or did the boy have control over the demon???? Now as far as receiving the Holy Ghost we see the disciples in Acts 2 in 100% control of they're actions! And THAT'S WHAT THE HOLY GHOST DO!!

@rootboysupreme1 but in acts it says that the spirit GAVE them utterance.........so they werent controlling the utterance....The Holy Spirit was.

And the reason why is when someone give you a Christmas gift, or a birth day gift or any gift for that matter (the gift of Tongues), do they (the giver) ever control the gift given to you? Lets say someone buys you a watch and say "here this is yours but I have power and control over it!" When the Holy Spirit GAVE them utterance He actually GAVE them utterance. That's why it's called the "GIFT of the Holy Ghost" because He GIVES it to us!
