  • The wolf mix is beautiful

  • How is it owning a wolf? I have a vizsla, great dog, but I've always been interested in more exotic animals, but the closest things are my two Bengal cats.

  • That aint a real woof. The power of the woof cannot be captured on film or corraled in someones back yard. And I know woofs, I have six tshirts with woofs on them and some of the shirts have 2 woofs.

    Just kidding, awesome footage.

  • Go fuck yourselves

  • Im no expert by any meansi will say VERY wolf look, but in my 2 days camping with a 50/50 wolf mix,it had many behaviors different than that of dogs.I dont have time to go into em,Plz dont get one because u think theyre a cool lookin dog,or tough,or just getting a dog .This 50/50 was not a dog.Quite unpredictable, very interesting, but but People who want one are either 1.wanting something to impress or show off to friends or 2.Havent been around one enough to know(raised as pups theyre not dogs

  • Beautiful wolfdog, just beautiful :) I want one

  • You can see the Malamute in him. Both nice ,healthy looking dogs.

  • damn so if what the guy says is right this is like 87% wolf! thats fuckin nuts! well shit a malamute is already part wolf so even more than that! its crazy how well behaved he is!

i have wanted a wolf dog for SOOO long! but they seem so hard to handle but something like this makes it look like as long as your willing to put in the time and effort they will come out great like any other dog!

  • @bobwatters You can usually tell by their temperment as pups how they will be grown up. Hostility is a beneficial trait in a wild Wolf.

  • Beautiful I just finished nine mile wolf great book great video

  • I came for the wolf....but I stayed for the 9th's finale.

  • Man I just wanna tackle the pair of them and give them a great big hug

  • such a frndly lil fight! so cuuteee! i love wolfs! and dogs! i hpe to keep 1 vn I grow up!

bt te way the musics great!

  • Humping to show dominance... Yer my bitch lol My dog does that too.

  • anyone else notice the timber wolf trying to hump the dog? Lol

  • Wow pretty dog looks like an Alaskan malamute!

  • wolf dogs are pretty hard to train ... how did you do it . better yet how does the wolf in him stay gentle

  • wow. How'd you get a Timber Wolf??

  • @Bondovi18 He didn't get a damn timber wolf dumbass ditz

  • @defendingdog that's strange, I'm pretty sure I was talking to the person who posted this video, not you. It sure looks like they have one considering the dogs are playing inside.. Who just names a random dog? Are you blind and stupid? Or just stupid? Why don't you try reading right under the" top comments" next time.

  • :48 seconds that looks wrong

  • that is not a wolf it is a dog

  • @sniperfox1234 You are blind if you don't see wolf in him...Yes he does have some Malamute features in him but you can tell he's Wolf.

  • That is not a wolf. It's a dog. And those dogs aren't nearly as large as you claim. I see this over and over on youtube. People either lying about their dogs or having been sold a bill of goods when they obtained them. Everyone trying to get rid of a mutt that has the least bit of husky, Malamute, Akita, Elkhound, German Shepherd, etc. calls them a "wolf" or "wolfdog" and people grab them up. I've owned actual wolf hybrids and also run sled dogs for most of my life in Alaska.

  • @CTX50001 I know people that breed hybrids... and that dog has WOLF in him for sure.

  • thats a husky!

  • If that was a wolf it woulda torn that dog APART! It's probably a husky/wolf mix. Very comon.

  • 115# wolf hybrid, 65# mutt

  • Dog is not 120 lb.

  • wow a akita

  • i think the wolf had love on its mind...

  • two dogs PLAYING!

  • its just a big baby!

  • CONGRATULATIONS... YOU'RE A DOUCHE!!!!!!! :D

  • Wolf wants sex, bull says keep playing

  • this is a dog not a WOLF , it is actually a MALIBU. i have one just like it.....

  • @behroozdk It looks like a malimute. Are malibus part malimute?

  • Just to clear things up Axel is my dog he is this sweetest dog ever!!!! The guy that posted this was close to being accurate but i just wanted to clear it up since it appears to be such a big deal for reasons i don't know. He is approx. 120 lbs. his father is actually full blood artic wolf and his mother is 75% timber wolf and 25% malamute and fully erect on his hind legs he is 6'2. I hope that helps and keeps people from leaving these ridiculous comments. They are both amazing dogs just enjoy!

  • @heppel42, He is a very handsome dog, no denying that! But there is no way he had a pure wolf parent and what would be considered an upper mid-lower high content mom and ended up looking like a wooly Malamute. Especially with a pure wolf parent...that's just about a genetic impossibility there. Very handsome, gorgeous dog. But someone misrepped big time. :/

  • @wolfdogfostermom I met both parents knew the owners well they have been dometicating wolves for over 7 generations. I took him to several different vets and they all agreed with the breeders. You can't base a % of breed just on looks some genes are more dominate than others ( His mother's dog bloodline is wooly giant malamute very dominate)this is a video animals can look different in person. Thanks for the compliment about him being handsome he really is a beautiful animal.

  • @heppel42, That may be true for lower contents, and wolfdogs that have been several generations removed from a pure wolf (higher F#) but when talking about a pure wolf to a higher % wolfdog breeding. Absolutely not. It's one thing to have subtle Mal traits, and it's another thing to look EXACTLY like a Mal. I am not talking about %, I am talking about phenotype and content. Most of the breeders of these animals lie- big time. If I believed the breeder and vets and most people about

  • @heppel42, what they say about my animals...then I have pure wolves. According to my rescued woofers breeder...who has lineage, papers and everything- they would be 97% wolf...and they should be looking like what you'd see in Yellowstone! But they are not, they were misrepresented, probably closer to 50-60%. They are mid content wolfdogs and their doggy heritage is quite evident and not what you'd see in a true 97%er.

  • @heppel42 With only 13% doggy genes in your boy...Mal should only be *slightly* evident. That IS genetics. Been doing this for 10 yrs, and know some of the best. I challenge you to ask a reputable sanctuary to pheno your boy- Mission: Wolf, Wolf Park or Indigo Mtn. Nature Center for example. No direspect meant at all. I encourage you to look into this a little more. Then if you disagree afterwards...ok then. :)

  • @heppel42, And you're very welome, he really is! :D

  • @wolfdogfostermom Trust me I know gentics i had to take plenty of it for my major. His full sister looks exactly like their dad to a tee. I would love to phenotype him problem being he was stolen from me a while back and looks like im not getting him back. If I ever do I will and let you know trust me. I might do it for my female pup I just got from a wolf sanctuary in texas they told me she was around 90% wolf interested in finding out if they were right. Thanks for the tip.

  • @heppel42, I am sorry to hear that. :( Hmmm. which sanctuary if you don't mind me asking? Yes...it would be interesting indeed...a 90%er should be quite the wolfy animal.

  • @heppel42, To give you an idea what a 90%er should look like. Most of the "calendar wolves" are not pure wolves at all...but privately owned high content wolfdogs (generally in the 90-98% range).

  • @heppel42 And a pup? How old?

  • @wolfdogfostermom I can't remember the name but it was just south of dallas. she is mainly red wolf mixed with gray wolf and some german shepard she has a beautiful black mask. She will be three months on the 26th. I look for her paperwork and find the name of the sanctuary.

  • Comment removed

  • @heppel42, I am "just saying" and you can take it as you like. Red wolf in the lineage would be pretty much impossible considering their numbers and how extremely endangered they are. That would be red flag # 1. Red flag # 2...her birthday. While yes, some wolfdogs can have puppies during "off-season" pures and true high contents (which % should generally stay true to content- meaning a 90%er is a high content) don't produce pups outside the late winter/early spring months (Feb-May).

  • @wolfdogfostermom Thats correct. Wolves breed during the winter solstice.

  • @heppel42, But I am interested to see what sanctuary it is. Not familiar with any reputable ones near Dallas. ???

  • @wolfdogfostermom How well do your dogs deal with the heat in Texas? I would imagine they would be looking for shade in your Summer.

  • @oodnac, They actually do quite well! They don't shed like northern breeds, who many times can still have a fairly thick coat during the summer and have 2 major sheds a year. My guys shed just about everything 1 time and should start in the next couple weeks- their entire undercoat and most of their guard hairs go and their summer coat is significantly shorter with no traces of undercoat. So think of a shorter haired dog instead of a husky coat during summer! It's quite neat actually!

  • @oodnac, But they looks like rats...seriously. They drop about 10-15lbs during the summer and are all legs! You realize just how lean they are when they are in their summer coats! They appear to be much heavier then hwat they really are when they are in their winter coats!

  • @heppel42, A wolfdog that is a F1, almost 90% wolf...is going to look like a pure wolf.

  • @heppel42 You can tell by their tails and ears that they're having fun. If they were really fighting everybody in the neighborhood would know it.

Odds are when they were done they both slept like rocks cuddled up together.

  • @heppel42 i personally dont care what these people say..i see two dogs having a blast playing...

  • that mastiff don't look no 120lbs. puppy mastiff playing with a full grown husky/malamute or whatever the hell it is, what it isn't is a wolf. i doubt that wolf looking dog is even 120lbs. i'm guessing around 80-100lbs maybe. i will say this. they are a couple of good looking dogs. not a 6'2" timber wolf though. he would have ate the mastiff, you and the camera.

  • nice of em to get em a tv outside how considerate

  • Sorry but that bull mastiff is not 120 lbs lmao get a grip.

  • @GetInThaKitchen u sound dumb as hell

  • @thatgoonwholurks4 Awww nice attempt at trying to insult me buddy.

  • Lmfao there not fighting nor playing at some parts ahah there trying to hump eachother

  • if thats a wolf than the shetland pony must be the new mustang.. lol

  • if thats a whole than the shetland pony must be the new mustang

  • Fools i bet its a Half Timber Wolf and Half Malamute

  • Malamute

  • I had a German Shephard Wolf Hybrid, She was beautiful. She looked a little like this one, but was all black. smart dog. I used to take her hunting.

  • that looks like a 100lb Native american indian dog and a 40lb boxer.. either way theyre both dogs and no where close to those weights

  • @Daze708 you're absolutely right, this is not a dog. might have some F3-ish parts of a dog though, but the tail, and positioning of the head inline with its shoulders and not above it are pretty damn clear signs for this being at least half a wolf. However, it's neither a Husky nor a Malamute.

  • its a Malamute.. not a wolf.. lol

  • no its a wolf

  • Comment removed

  • my dog is like 26 pounds and barks at a pit bull -_-

  • To the naysayers... look at the size of both dogs to the chairs. Would you want either one of them to crawl up in your lap. They're huge!

  • "Unlike the rest of the 20lb to 40lb ankle-biters in our"

Those are properly called "Carpet sharks"

  • Friends for life. You have something special here :)

  • Why was Axel trying to hump the mastiff at :47?

  • @TheYOMOMMA123 It's a dominance thing, regardless of gender, if you dominate the other in that manor you're superior and therefore Alpha.

  • You guys have a TV outside?

  • is the timber wolf the biggest in size?of all dog family

  • @Modestasgailius I think so, I have seen some gigantic wolves even bigger than full grown great dames.

  • @Modestasgailius no irish wolfhound is the biggest

  • 0:45 Timber Wolf is trying to get it in(;

  • those dogs are having fun :)

  • Looks like a malamute wolf dog, not a full blooded timber wolf. It has more of the malamute coat to it than the wolf.

  • It could be a timber wolf malamute mix. Or perhaps they have some kind of licensee to own a full wolf.

  • it's not a wolf its a dog.

  • @vettegurl08

wolves and dogs are very similar. a dog is a domesticated wolf.

    a wolf is NOT domesticated,

THAT up THERE is a huskey.

  • @TheHardstyleChick more like an Alaskan Malamute or cross

  • @TheHardstyleChick Your right about the domesticated part, but that up there is NOT a huskey! I see huskeys everyday...they look kinda similar, but there are BIG differences (curled up tail, a lot less fur, smaller body, more of a doggy face, etc). If I saw THAT thing on my porch I would be terrified!

  • @vettegurl08 that sure is a wolf

  • @vettegurl08 its definitely got wolf in it its probably mixed with huskey

  • @vettegurl08

That's the biggest Husky I have ever seen! It's a wolf... man

  • @webmoss its called a malamute. When bred for size they get over 100

  • @webmoss Actually a full blood Mali can easily outweigh a full blood Wolf. I had one as a kid that weighed over 160.

  • How did you get a wolf?! Axel's beautiful, but I'd be worried if he were to lash out at me or attack

  • Holy ish! I never knew wolves were that BIG!

  • I want!

  • This would go on my number 1 unfitting music video

  • Kinda looks like a malamute mix to me...I'm pretty sure it is illegal to own a timber wolf, especially in an urban area...pretty dogs though.

  • Wow. Do you really own a wolf? Can people do that?

  • @Xartaetos2007 No, but they kind of adopt you.

  • isnt this what got vick into trouble...

  • @lucacapo They are playing you retard

  • how did u get a wolf???????????????????????????

  • @jarrad90000 It´s no wolf it´s a poor bred Malamute.

  • that wolf wants some action =)

  • so im not laying the blame anywhere just, theres no point arguing the internet should be used to ur own personal advantage. and just to get any people straight nefore they start having ago i like america but im allergic to bullshit sorry

  • im not saying this to treat on anyones toes but america would still be beautiful if us english hadnt a fucked up n sailed there and colonised it so, and if you mean we owe thanks to america for taking natzi scientists after the war to develop nukes then no ...... no i dont fucking have anything to thank you for lol but dont worry im english an everyday i wonder what the fuck my country was really thinking back in the day when it decided lets fuck up the world

  • Pretty vicious looking dogs here....Watch out or they might lick you to death...

  • This is NOT a Malamute. It most definitely has wolf in it to some degree. Of course It clearly isn't full bred wolf. It does have wolf-dog characteristics though. For one thing, it has Longer canines like a wolf. It has hair inside it's ears, like a wolf. And it is huge compared to the Mastiff which is no small breed. And just so spartandbz doesn't go around being an ignorant jackass for the rest of his life, wolves can be this color. I worked as a zoologist assistant with wolves and coyotes.

  • I agree with @spartandbz....definately Malamute!!..funny that I would once again see a Malamute and a Mastiff playing around on U-TUBE.....

  • @samijavani Wolf hybrids have to be Wolves bred with dogsin order to be domesticated. Otherwise when it reaches adulthood it will be wild and unpredictable. Most times Wolf-dog hybrids in the US are no more than 60 or 65 percent wolf. That is most certainly what this is. People breed a wolf to another wolf like breed such as German Shepard or a Husky to get a trainable animal. a full bred wolf does not have the desire to please humans that dogs posses so they have to be bred down.

  • you... are one lucky bastard! to have a real wolf would be a dream for me!.. and im sure i share the same dream as a bunch of other people too.

  • @spartandbz This isn´t a wolf but a Malamute. He carries his tail high, has a black mask, dark eyes, big ears pointing to the side, the stripe running to his nose is too dark, he has white above his eyes. The owner probably got scammed, happens a lot. Type in google: kennel sainen. Then go to the second link and click on the huskies. Now those are wolvy dogs. You should be ashamed thinking this is a wolf, but the fact that you´re american says enough, you guys can´t research your stuff.

  • @glennzoo We could research a bomb on you limey foreign ass! How bout that?

  • @shaindaman13 Hahaha, dumbass Americans. I will laugh my lungs to dust when Russia and China kick the (....) out of you guys. America is the only country where people of the government forget speeches, historical facts and just average knowledge. The American political system is just pathetic, you have two parties who can´t stand each other, and the people are the ones who suffer because of it. I wouldn´t live in that shithole country of you for millions, Proud to be Dutch.

  • @glennzoo yea, totally since the Netherlands is so much better??? LMAO

  • @gottaMANUPyeaboy Definetly. We have a stable government, economy and we have less poverty.

  • @glennzoo Show me where it says that because all economic ranks that I found had the USA above the netherlands. The USA only has a poverty rate of 12% compared to the netherlands 10.5% which isn't that big of a difference. Stable government???? When I googled searched that all I saw was it isn't so go ahead try again. You say y'all do shit right, LMAO!!!!! Then I see you have to live through other countries to talk down on us. USA like it or not is still a superpower and will be.

  • @glennzoo Russia can't even kick their own asses and China wouldn't have anyone to sell their cheap crap to so that really isn't a worry to me. You and all the other losers that try to run, jump and swim into this country say stuff like that cause you're not lucky enough to be born in the greatest nation in human history. It kind of makes me smile when people hate on us though. Means we do shit right.

  • @shaindaman13 Hahahah. China has an army which makes the USA sweat. Russia still has one of the strongest armies in the world. The USA is a shithole and I feel sorry with the Mexicans who are so desperate they go to hell on Earth. I am looking forward to the day your immature government messes up the economy so bad your country crumbles to shit. The EU is already taking over economic power from the USA, China is becoming the biggest industrial power and the USA is slowly fading to the shadows.

  • @shaindaman13

    sorry but @glenzzoo is right,

america or united states or what ever you call yourselfs would not be nothing without

    europe,russia and china,

america or united states have a debt of billions 2 china,

you have a poverty thats even bigger than in 3rd world country's.

america or unit states is not what hollyood shows in movies of the american perfect live,

thats just a lie and you now that, and its pathetic calling yourselfs best nation on earth, america is continent not a nation

  • @SPredarmysoldier Yeah? is that right smart guy? And how would you know? You're both idiots. So there. I live here. There is no way you can prove what you just so ignorantly stated because it's false. Most everything the world has today owes thanks to an American. Everything from the light bulb, to the internet. From the telephone to the airplane were invented here. I bet YOU use something everyday that was invented here. Thanks to an American you can post your stupid comments.

  • @glennzoo P.S. Yeha they'll kick our asses huh.... just like al the other wars we've been in where we lost.....oh wait,....thats right we won them.

  • @glennzoo The only thing I know about your country is that it's legal to fuck 15 year olds. Dammit that's awesome.

  • @tjd1985 It´s not, but banging hores is as easy as getting water and buying drugs is legal (dealing is not).

  • @glennzoo This dog is much too tall and thin to be a malamute. Malamute are much stronger built because they were bread to run hundreds of miled throught winter snow. I agee that this may not be a FULL wolf, it definately has alot in it. Also, i really dont care what you 'think' you foreign piece of shit, im gunna call it a wolf, you know why? Because it is. It has a bloodline to true timber wolves, so its a wolf. Who care about other breeds mixed in? i sure as fuck dont. Piece of Russian shit.

  • @spartandbz I am Dutch. This thing isn´t even an F1 hybrid, maybe F3, meaning IF it has Wolf-blood it is like 12.5 %.

  • @glennzoo F1 and F3 huh? Thanks Mr. Scientific..... dude ur a tool. Your calling Americans dumbasses, yet this video is about dogs and you're talking about what country is better? What sense does that make? If anything, you've proven two things here. (1.) your a complete dumbass and (2.) the Netherlands are dumbasses for letting people like you reside in their country. I mean you are just making yourself and your country look bad. So yeah..about that, uh have fun there Mr. Scientist

  • @Jixxer4 The F-system is a widely used way to easily know how many generations ago new blood was added to the bloodlines. We do have good education here in the Netherlands.

  • @glennzoo Hey bud, whatever you gotta say to make yourself think you look good. Just think about it though, I mean you are trying to sound like some intelligent scientist on youtube guy, LOL. I can't say that any school here bothers with your so-called "F system" because I'm pretty sure our schools teach important things. Maybe in college classes, but not in your everyday grade schools. None the less I wont get into it with you. Have fun with your political argument cheif.

  • @glennzoo the F system just tells how long ago until pure wolf. So if you bred a pure wolf to a high content wolfdog(98%), the offspring would be F1 99%. It is not until new blood is added, it is to show how many generations ago a pure wolf was added to the heritage. Im bad at explaining things, so sorry if this sounds a little confusing x_x

  • @LucifersCockMeat You Gay

  • wow, that wolf puts the mastiff to shame. that thing is huge. awesome video.

  • lol so cute

  • This is amazing to me that a timber wolf is so playful. I guess this wolf has a reasonable amount of socializing with domesticated dogs?

  • a year and a half ago i found a stray mastiff and a greyhound in the back rummaging around. the greyhound had cigarette burns in her coat. i took them both in and named the mastiff "ash" after the character from the 2nd crow movie and i named the greyhound "maggie". they my joy.

  • @zeroair4 You're a wonderful person, x'D.

  • 00:47 was not fighting!!!

  • Thats gota be a husky lol

  • @DodgeRamBoy11 Nope that's North American Timber. You can tell by the size, coat and the tail isn't curved like a husky's.That one one might have a certain percentage of husky,as many Wolf-hybrid breeders mix wolf with husky cause of similarities.

  • @LucifersCockMeat Oh alrite thankyou for the info great video thumbs up

  • Well unless the guy that filmed this video is a midget and has midget tables, chairs, grill, and the patio porch fence barrier being 2ft. (<-- Has to be atleast 3 feet for kid protection) Then both these dogs are big as hell. Hell the one that looks like a wolf is almost as tall as he top of the chair where you set your head. And is taller than the table.

  • what's the music playing? Its nice

  • some people are making a big deal on here about the breed from appearance. I find you can't always tell a dog breed from the look alone, some traites are stronger. My dog for example is a border-collie lab (dad was a yellow lab and mom was border-collie), he has a big yellow lab build with black fur (white chest and toe tips). But his siblings looked like collies than labs, and one had collie fur with yellow coat. I had a better example, but i can't think (4 am)

  • Great vid~ I love it.What's up with some of these comments? First of all, to the person who said it looks more like a 60 lb mastiff and an 80 lb wolf cross: NO. You can judge by the size of the surroundings that both dogs are well over 100lbs. Second of all, to all of the weirdos fighting about what type of breed this "timber wolf" is: This IS some kind of wolf hybrid. All timber shepherds, malamute's, huskies etc are the result of tamed dogs bred with wolves.ALL dogs originate from two breeds.

  • Looks more like 65lb mastif and a 75-80lb hybrid.

  • Cute pups! That was fun. Thank you.

    (Ignore all the nabobs)

  • beautiful dogs! looks like best friends to me! :)

  • Looks like a couple of best friends playing around. Reminds me of my Pit and Doberman in the backyard haha. (bout 40 lbs. less each).

  • Rockwell "At last a real dog"

  • def a mallamute

  • my three Rotties should have been in this video ☺

  • These K9's have great temperament's...

  • If you don't think thats a wolf, then keep it to yourself and quit looking for a reason to bitch at somebody because your own life is so pathetic you have to sit on youtube all day watching stupid ass videos that noone cares about. Get a life.

  • @baybeebabyy, Lol...nice language you got there. I have a life, work most of the day, own real wolfdogs and do foster/rescue work...and it irks me to no end when people misrepresent their dogs as "wolves/hybrids." :)

  • @baybeebabyy I'm not sure why you're acting so hostile as if these are your pets. :/

This dog is definitely not a timber wolf. You can look through google images of "Timber Wolf" and see that. If it IS a wolfdog, it is INCREDIBLY low content because all I see in it is dog.

And it would seem that you are also watching these "stupid ass videos that no one cares about" yet you seem to care a whole lot.

  • So, maybe you should fuck off. Quit being so fucking rude, use some manners. Animals are how you raise them to be, read a fucking book. Or are you another one of those people that think pitbulls are bred for killing? I asure you, thats not the case. If you didn't like the video, you didn't have to comment.

  • Okay, for starters, I'm sure half of you only clicked this link hoping to see a dog fight, which makes you disgusting and you don't even deserve to be alive. Second, who are to tell the owner of this animal that it's not what they say it is? Sorry, some wolves are prettier than others, especially timber wolves.

  • If by "timber wolf" you mean malamute, then yes...
