Is she Wu Bixia? This is much better than her 'Bed Bean Poem', which I can't stand. I wonder if she uses different techniques to sing different songs. Why can't she sing Red Bean Poem like she sing this aria?
@operafan34 Yes, the Red Bean Poem is sung by traditional Chinese vocal technique (a combination of Chinese opera and Bel canto), which is just for Chinese language singing.

yes, same person, puzzles me too why she did the red bean piece like that. don't think the lyrics or the emotions require that kind of voice at all
