@michelle13579123 - No, I think the places in this video are Snowbird (in Utah), Squaw Valley, Alpine, Sugar Bowl, Kirkwood and Northstar...or some subset of them. I haven't been to Mt. High yet...
I have some problems editing the footage. I use sony vegas. When I import the video's (all 200 at the same time) vegas crashes. When I try it one by one, vegas crashes. apparantly my pc doesn't have enough memory. I read on gopro's website that you can use mpeg streamclip to convert the footage to a smaller formate. I have tried this (and a couple other converters), but they only make the files bigger and the quality less good.
@jeheprotkop - I edit my videos on a Mac, so I'm not directly familiar with Sony Vegas. I will say that you do need a computer with some processing power and memory when working HD video, so you may be right about not having enough memory. From what I've seen online there are a lot of people who use it, so you might as well give it a shot. Good luck!
Thanks. I mounted the camera with the handlebar/seatpost mount. It clamps onto the stick so I can move it from one end to the other depending if I want to film myself or others that I'm riding with.
@swankadank How long is the stick you are using? Im making one right now and wasnt too sure how long I need to go. I was thinking 4- feet but I wonder if less would be better? thoughts?
@mooseknuckle19KB -- The stick that I use is an old escrima fighting stick. It's about 3 feet long. I'd probably prefer something a little longer (although I think over 4 feet might be pushing it). The main thing is to make sure the mounting sticks, and that the stick is lightweight since you'll have to hold it out while you ride. Good luck!
Holy shit, are you on Mt. High? That place is awsome!!!!! <3 it. :D

does the camera have any protection?

Yeah, it's contained in a plastic housing that's waterproof. It doesn't pick up sound that well, but it works fine snowboarding and underwater.
