  • io ho il vhs originale uno tra i miei film preferite,la musica poi,e l'attore principale,la trama,è tutto bello e non aggiungo altro, con blade runner e pochi altri

  • This I S N O T the original soundtrack recording of Toccata from the 1975 movie Rollerball. Cheap and unworthy imitation.

  • @MrTruthBeTold51 i took the frist 3 minutes of the movie without editing... maybe this is youtube and not dolby digital but is the original movie.

  • the exact version of the theme music that looped continuously outside of Draculas Castle in wildwood, NJ, from 1977 - 2002 when it was burned down!!

  • I bought this film before the remake came out...I regret watching the remake.

  • awesome movie that I watched on my 15th birtday!!!

  • I had mentioned this elsewhere. William Harrison was an excellent writer. His original short story was titled, "Rollerball Murder".

  • Game? This wasn't meant to be a game. NEVER!!!

  • long live our most beloved GERMAN FATHERLAND!!!!

  • This film is more prophetic now than it ever was in 1975 when I first saw it. A ruling elite executive class...where the globalist collective run the planet thru world government and big corporations...sound like reality?

This film needs to be remade and not by the moron who made the last remake who completely destroyed the premise of the first.

  • @AffinityNetNews Science fiction with a social commentary is not on the agenda in todays Hollywood. The last SF movie that had some social commentary was Children of Men. Remakes are garbage.

  • @andmaketherain I know. I worked for many years in Hollywood, NYC, London and Rome in the film industry and left because, of what you so aptly stated in your discourse.

  • We need Rollerball as a REAL sport. Separate the men from the cowards.

  • The idea of a world rule by corporations instead of governments doesn't sound very far fetched to me. Perhaps corporations are already capable of ruling the world.

  • Mitica!!!!!!!!

  • HA! This is were we are all heading! The End Is Near@!!!! lol

  • tunnel vision music this tune was on the c64 game called tunnel vision

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! I REALLY LIKE IT BECAUSE IT IS RATHER DARK AND BECAUSE IT IS SO GERMAN!! IT MAKES ME WISH I WAS IN THE BLACK FOREST OF SOUTHERN GERMANY! IT ALSO MAKES ME THINK ABOUT THE GERMAN MILITARY. DEUTSCHLAND UBER ALLES!!!!! ONE REASON I LIKE THE 1975 MOVIE ROLLERBALL IS BECAUSE IT WAS FILMED ON LOCATION IN MUNICH (MUNCHEN) WEST GERMANY (BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND)

  • @MsKeith1969- Or maybe it's because Bach wrote it,and he couldn't be more Deutsch if he tried. Please wave the flag somewhere else.

  • Very Heart wrenching

  • One of the Omega Man's all time favorite movies, along with Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes 1968, Damnation Alley, Ben Hur, West World - shall I go on?

  • Just fantastic vision of the future. We need it now. James Caan did it and he's still a bad ass today, telling directors like DAVID O'RUSSELL to fuXXXck off.

  • Imagine this sport for real? Rollerskating, motorcycling, ball beaning, all in one?!

  • I am from that time this was made. I even have a hand drawn sketch of my self as Caans' #6. Still a strong film in vision and thought. I so pleased you younger guys can grasp it.

  • @Theonelordnikon

    It is a terrifric film.

  • grande film. grande James Caan e ovviamente grande, grandissima musica.

    l'abbinamento classica/ fantascenza e' perfetto

  • the action scenes on this movie were really awesome. Rollerball seemed like a pretty cool game! But, an original soundtrack would have been nice, ican only correate this music with medival churches in Europe.

  • the first time i saw this i saw it on a game show channel. G4 channel 175 in USA on cable..the show was on a series called "movies that dont suck" and they played old movies and let me tell you it didnt suck!!! i loved it. i only saw it a year ago on it but i cant get it out of my head. the thing that got me interested was the music in the begging... than boom action. i loved it. the CGI today isnt that bad but they over do it in movies like crazy and i wish they would stop and try this agian...

  • I saw this at an actual movie theater with

ONE screen and a ticket booth outside on the walk before you entered. I urge you to see this movie uncut and on the biggest screen you can find. The sensory impact is well worth it .

  • @jager18903 Well said. I saw it when it was first released and it was magic.

  • @jager18903 So did I.... so did I.... and such an impression it left.

  • This was brilliant in the cinema back in 1974, and at full volume!!

  • I was 2 years old - I've only ever seen this on TV.

    But what a film!?

This video shows a bunch of people cleaning the arena (no CGI - done for real) before the bloodshed begins - to the strains of Bach!

Absolutely classic - I will pay good money to see this on the big screen if I ever get the chance.

  • @sillicus2 Sorry, it was 1975. I'll never forget being there. And I've sinced watched it over 100 times.

  • Bellissima

  • One of the best movies ever made, in my humble opinion. Pleased to see somebody else enjoyed it. Thank you.
