  • A lot of these youtube clips are total lip synced (and they are obviously making light of it by obviously not doing the same thing), but this clip is at the least, live vocals. What's funny is as long as Steve Priest was doing his thing, it didn't seem to matter. ;)

  • Of couse it is not 100% live! Check out the Breakdown video of the same 'live concert' - suddently in the guitar solo you can hear 2 guitars playing in harmony, ha ha and only on man is playing guitar = Busted!!

  • Its live. Andy's playing at the end and Steve's vocal parts especially are proof of that. They differ greatly from the record.

  • @MrDbear1963 Being a drummer I know this is not live! Look at what Mick does, some of it just doesnt match up! This is a semi-live performance which many tv shows of its period did!

  • well at first i thought it was live but he's definitely miming the guitar solos!

i think it must be pre-recorded for the show, so different to the album, but not actually live...

  • Miming ?? You're having a laugh ! This is as live as it gets !

  • The awesome thing about Sweet is that they played live just like in the studio. Seeing them live was like listening to the album, with the usual concert variations thrown in. But, these guys could sing and harmonize like nobody else. I miss these days sooooo much. RIP Brian

  • @hartley8184 - they're playing this just like in the studio cause they're miming - I loved the Sweet - but why did they have to mime - they were the only band that mimed on the Geordie Scene
