  • You are absoloutely amazing! I am in middle school learning that piece for a solo contest and you are amazing at it... way to inspire me Han Kim(:

  • That's it. I'm adopting an Asian.

  • You're simply amazing. Can I ask, what edition is the version you are playing? like Boosey, Peters, or?

  • To all of you clarinet students referring to this as a "solo", it has a HUGE piano part and is a Duo as the name implies. To even think of it as a solo is to completely miss the point of duo sonatas. This is well played but too fast; you rob the music of it's beauty and shape. "Allegro con Fuoco" is not "Alegro molto". I can have just as much fire and a lot more musicality if played a little slower.

  • take it slower, you cant handle souch speed, not that im better or sth. but now you are brobably eaven better.

  • i heard some other kid do this, and i thought the clarinet and the piano clashed. i can actually hear how it goes together in this. good job

  • Excellent performance. I'll likely be playing this as my solo this year, and probably in the local music festival next year, so this is really helpful.

  • How do you tongue so quickly?! I'm working on this with my private lessons teacher and I can play it perfectly, but the tonguing slows me down because I can't do it fast enough!

  • Watch the slurred stacatto notes, they are on the short side. Other than that, GREAT PERFORMANCE!

  • not bad,

  • great for me since im playing this solo this year

  • It's a little on the fast side, but otherwise great tone and style. :D

  • This is great

It seems that the first measure is significantly faster than the next measures... and again when you hear that opening measure.

  • After not playing for over 20yrs this KID has me practicing the g--ddam Solo de Concours 6 hours a day and I STILL cant play it!! I get lucky and get thru the last section every now and then!! I cheer and my dog takes off running!! why is daddy jumping up and down!!

  • Ejecuta muy bien, peros tempos estan muy rápidos. El individuo es un verdadero artista. Lo unico que no comparto sus ¨¨tempis¨.

  • time to hit the recording studio

  • You are a really amazing clarinet player! Congratulations!

  • amazing...beautiful tone.. great technique

  • oh my god...

    wow ur incredible...

i try hard to sound good on clarinet...but it never works...

can u please give me any tips?

  • Well woerking on embouchure will do wonders. Lessons can help. The best thing to do is to listen!! Listen to great players... you internalize what great sound actually sounds like.. its a large leap in achieving a mature sound. Also, listen to yourself! A great wayy is to record yourself, and then listen to it.. listen for tone quality, fluctuatins in air, etc..

  • you are great. Felicitaciones. Lo admiro muchísimo, que chevere con tan corta edad toque tanto

  • Nice tone u have there. and my friend is jealous of you because he sound bad during my band rehersal.... lol

he was shock to see a young player like u having a concert of your own already.

Hope u come to Singapore where i came from to have a concert ... oh i heard a squeak but is not really a matter.

  • every time i see a new video you sound about 500 times better. this is a great solo, and you played it beautifully!

  • Han Kim. Because of you, I feel proud to be a Korean!

  • wow! beautiful ! I love u.:)

  • Oh my goodness you are so good!!! i am a young clarinetist but not nearly as good as you are! i was also born in korea, i dont remember much tho. good luck in your career :)

  • wow u r an amazing clarinet player

    u are very skilled

and i cant believe u also memorized it too

    u must b a very hard worker

i wish the best of luck

  • when u play it a lot u naturally memorize it

  • your so good!!!!!!!!

im 13 and not even close to being as good as you!
