I admire Sigourney's work and her life ethos, however Discovery Channel should never have removed footage and Attenborough was more than just a narrator; he lives these series. Sigourney is not the problem at all (I like her) but there was just no need to change it.

The original BBC version with David Attenborough is much better. The discovery channel also removed nearly an hour of footage from the US version to allow for commercials.

It's a wonderful series but should be seen with Attenborough.

He's only narrating the BBC version (They also made it). Discover Channel has its own version, with Weaver narrating. I love Weaver, but I prefer Attenborough for documentaries.
