Samsung Eternity II Review

do you have to have the $15 database plan with this phone? and on a scale 1-10 what would you rate this phone? I'm kind of nervous that alot of people say that the phone freezes while texting..im a heavy texter.

Well actually, with the battery...When you first get your phone, you charge it for 24 hours, then the first time you use it you run it completely down til it almost shuts down. Then give it a full charge while its off and from then on your battery will give you all it has. Once you do that it doesn't matter if you turn it off when you charge it or not...

The worst thing I've heard about this phone is that it occasionally freezes while texting... is that just some ppls phone or is this a universal among all eternity's...??

@DyslexicxXxymenE My phone texts fine and the touch screen is always responsive. The reason people say it sucks and freezes is that they arent pressing the button on the screen that hard (since the touch screen needs pressure on it instead of heat sensors.) Once you get used to it, its an awesome phone in my opinion.

I have the samsung Eternity (first gen)

it's a very sensitive touchscreen

and has less lag than this one

THE FIRST ETERNITY IS WAY BETTER

@mrhbkfan11 it's ok, if you can type fast sometimes it freezes and takes a few seconds to catch up.

A few questions about the phone, hopefully you can answer them!

. Can it contain over 100 songs & photos?

. Does it contain browsers? 'msn,facebook,myspace,twitter etc..'

. Is the quality good for the photos and stuff?

. Can the videos last up to a long time?

@TheGameplayAvenger The phone can hold as many songs and photos as the memory card you have in the phone can hold (ex. an 8 gig memory card can hold about 2000 songs).

I dont have much experience with browsing experience because i do not have an internet plan, but it has a built in app for facebook, twitter, and MSN app.

Camera quality is pretty poor, and it takes about 4 seconds to take a picture, so its pretty crappy.

As far as i know, the videos will go as long as the memory card has room.

wow thanks im still deciding between this and the mythic to bad this phone has a sucky battery

@JianithinM I almost got the mythic, until i found out that apparently you can only choose from 3 backgrounds. And the battery isn't sucky, you just have to turn the phone off before you charge it, if you do that the battery will last for days, since i started charging it correctly i havent had less than 5 bars of battery (which is full)

@JianithinM you can set up voice commands so when u speak the phone will call a specific person depending on what you say. I don't use it so i'm not sure how reliable it is.
