  • OK. I really like your 'crazy' style. Very in line with what I want to do.

  • You can felt the batt, or spin them into yarn. I'm overdue for making a felting & yarn vid!

  • what can you make with art yarn? i would really like to see something done by someone with all the locks and different textures

  • Why all the dislikes?! Come on people! These are ART batts, not SMOOTH batts! This is supposed to be fun!

  • I love your attitude about having to plan taking all the fun out. Sometimes you just need to let it all hang out. Do you ever recard to make the batt easy to draft or how does the drafting go?

  • That is what is referred to as a hot mess....in a good way. :D

  • Love it- My carders teeth are to small....

  • It's a vintage carder with 21 tpi super coarse carding cloth. I bought it on Ebay for $180.

  • What type of carder are you using??? It has such large, wide teeth.

  • HippieGirlCintia, not at all! These batts are easy to spin from. I'll be doing a spinning short next ;) Most of my handspun yarn is made using batt such as these. Check out my profile for my Etsy shop link to see yarns spun with my batts ;)

  • Are the lumpy, textured bats like this one hard to spin? Very pretty

  • I love video tutorial ! thank you !!!!

  • Oh, what fun! I don't have a drum carder yet. Whiiiiiiiiiiiine. I'm bad bad magpie from Flickr, by the way.
