I don't think China is controllable although I see increased internal strife there that may limit their ability to push their geopolitical agendas. America's best choice there is to keep Russia and China at odds...how we do that without appearing to take sides will be a delicate balance, but certainly our geopolitical goals favor supporting China. Iraq is like the wind. Arabs have a tendency to be swayed with cash. Iran has little of that.

I do see the STO (Shanghai Treaty) because a less affective tool. I see Nato having issues between East and West ideological geopolitical interests being weakened. AFghanistan is unwinnable.
