You can cover the fingers with tape so you can then justbpeel it off and dont need to clean as much nailpolsish. Tneres thousands of tutorials that ahow how to put the tape on
I love water marbling! When I do it, I put some vaseline on the skin around the nail and up to the first knuckle to keep from clean up being difficult. Its a sort of messy way to do nails but the results are so worth it!
hey awesome video i just wanted to tell u that next time when u do this to ur nails make sure u cover the skin with tape on it so the nail polish wont go on ur skin and u dont have todo extra things to it to make it perfect:)
okay...First, I had no idea that finger nail polish would do that in water. Very cool! But don't you go through a ton of polish? And how long does it take for that to completely dry? I have quiet a bit of patience but from start to finish including drying time I bet that takes forever. Anyway it's super cool, and thanks so much for sharing. I have your navy anchor nails on now and i love them! your fantastic.More vids? please
I really don't know why but ive tried to follow some of these marbling videos exactly. They never work for me. I understand the concept completely, but the polish dries so fast in the water that I cant "marble" it. Ive even used some of the same polishes listed and they still dry fast. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong :(
I have to say this is the best tutorial I've seen. You can do more than one nail at once if you have a bigger bowl. Plastic and styrofoam bowls will cool the water faster. Learned that the hard way! Wet-N-Wild, Sally Hansen, and Orly won't work well with the items I mentioned earlier. If you put Vaseline or any kind of oil around your fingers and under your nail bed before you dip your nails the cleaning will be easier before using polish remover.

It doesn't take that long to dry and I really recommend a fast drying top coat. I use Seche Vite dry fast top coat.
I will make more videos as soon as I have time! :)

Thank you for the comment!
I will definetely try out putting more than one finger at once!
I've also noticed that Misa nail polishes don't spread easily in the water as you can see on the video as well.
kittynail 2 years ago
I thought the Misa worked well. I thank you because I now know O.P.I & China Glaze works. To bad I only have one bottle of CG and no O.P.I.

could you stick more than one finger in the water at a time or should it be one at a time? Your nails are beautiful. I enjoy your work!

how long should you leave your finger in the water for???
GymnasticFacts 2 years ago
Not for long. basically just leave it there untill you get the excess nail polish off from the water.
kittynail 2 years ago
OK thanks so much, i love your designs!
