@ptown9000 - Just guessing, but I imagine that the basic functions of the mouse would work fine. As for the functions requiring use of the driver software/macro app or other app settings I have no idea. I would be surprised if Cyborg's top tier (currently) gaming mouse failed to work on most Linux based OS's. Especially since the community based around these types of high end mice are not only avid gamers but typically above average PC users as well.

having a six foot long cable that gets under my laptop when i try to shift positions and that tangles behind my desk, with my headphones in my carrying case etc. make it a tad annoying at times. Folding a mouse does nothing unless i were to tape it to the wall. But, as previously stated, I do a lot of moving around.

I have this mouse after using a Logitech G5 which in itself was a great mouse and still is but i wanted wireless i must say its more comfortable that the G5 and more precise even though its wireless , this mouse is heavy with the weights in in fact to heavy i dont even use them i did however change the palm rest and finger rests to suit my hand to sum it up this is one if not the best mouse i have ever used .....

I have the rat 7 mouse, it is the mouse with the cord, great mouse the reason l got the cord is so l don't worry about batteries and after a while they loose charge. The mouse l had before the rat7 was mx revolution it had the charging dock or cradle and after a year or so it stopped charging, so no more batteries for me, rat 7 and 9 is the elite mouse for sure.
