For Bowie, the Rock seems a powerful means of expression about the phantasmagoric human costumes, with a fascination (coloured by a smiling detachment) leading and painting to the "extreme", for better focus as in a mirror. He does not judge them: accepts them and surmounts them in his imagination stage, sublimating.

It takes a summative talent, keen intelligence, deep culture, great experience, irony on the status of our conditioning.
