@WinstonLights87 The final score was 110-109 thanks to an Otis Smith runner with two seconds left. Check the Orlando Magic Vault (just Google it, the link won't work for some reason) for the game story.
@prossmanreich I was there, I have the game on VHS Tape, I was in sec 222, I told a person in my section I wanted to see Jordan score 50 and the Magic Win.
where is the game vs orlando when michael jordan wore the nuber 12 because he couldn't find his jersey. this happened only in one game? who has this video?
Well, he didn't lose it, it was stolen from the hotel - the Marriott across the street from the arena...and lol at all the MJ jockriders who I see gave me thumbs down for the reply 3 months ago. Cute.
Yeah, typical Bulls fan - always conveniently leaving out that the Magic won that game (I was there, as a Magic season ticket holder). Just like they all conveniently forget the the Magic torched Jordan in the 1995 playoffs ("but he didn't play the whole season!" they whine...BULLCRAP! THEY LOST!)
& they didn't "torch" shit, he torchd them! Look at what he AVERAGED against them in that short '95 stint! And that was with 2 yr rust on his game!
What happened when he knocked the rust off & they faced them the next season?
Oh how U conveniently forget during the '96 season, the magic went 1-7 vs MJ & the Bulls & he kicked the crap outta them from that point forward until he retired in '98, never losing to them again as a Bull.
It's a complete joy to watch Michael Jordan play. I don't get the same feeling watching today's stars. Not to say that today's stars are not talented, but they definitely don't compare to the stars in Jordan's era and they definitely don't compare to MJ. You hear that Kobe!?
Right. That has nothing to do with Kobe asking for a trade and Phil trying to figure out how to keep the ego-maniac on his squad. Nope, you're right, nothing at all suspect about the notorious psychology-fiddler Jackson making that statement.
Sorry I called you kid, sir, but that doesn't give you a right to call me an idiot. And just so you know, I happened to watch the '97 and '98 Finals on NBC. Guess who was playing.
I still stand by what I say about the journalists. Like I said, these are announcers for a LOCAL NETWORK, not NBC or CBS. Every team has its journalists, and because they are working for a certain city or area, they have to cater to the people that are watching in that area. This is Chicago's own network.
And I notice you are a fan of the Magic, as well. Much as I appreciate the awesomeness of the Magic back in the day, it's comments like you that make me not like them as much. Calling me a "Jordan j-rider," what a joke...
What a game. What an athelete. The greatness of MJ was forth coming as he started to play within the context of the game & not to deviate away from his team mates. A comming of an age MJ that was foreshadowing towards championship '90 to '98 seasons.
I have about 90% of his playoff games on dvd or vhs. all of his all star games and slam dunk contests in full and so many regular season games. A couple years ago I found a guy on ebay on sold me his collection of games. I paid a lot for it, but it was worth it. the nba was at its best in the 80's and 90's
Couldn't have said it better. These kids today just don't get it. If they missed the 80's & early 90's of the NBA..they missed the (N)o (B)abies (A)llowed..
GREATEST OF ALL TIME. You know some ball, you don't have to be up on the slang. (i didn't know either until I saw it on the cover of an LL Cool J album many years ago) You got me blushin' embarassing myself in front of the fellas!!
He would be unguardable today just like back then.

Acrobatic lay-ins, dunks, post ups, stop and pops, moving without the ball, mid range jumpers, long bombs .... MJ had a complete offensive game.

Thats one of the biggest spammers. Of course that quote is incomplete. Phil in that same article says MJ is the greateste player ever.
That bum just picked one line from an entire article.
