No. I just tried this on 3 different ones and it didin't work. I tried on Samsung, Panasonic, and Symphonic (which ususally plays everything) and it did NOT work :(

for computer just get download VLC media player its free i just wish my ps3 could play pal format i bought some german dvd's heh i can alwas hook my computer up to TV but i hate doing that lawl

Thanks a lot! It did worked on my LG HT302SD! The difference was that I had to press "0" four times and then press "enter" instead of "pause". And the screen appeared after pressing "0" had just 2 lines: the current code and the one you want to enter. Thanks!!

Well. We did that, and after the 4th DVD of regon 1 we played, the damn thing locked and we had to thowit away, cause it was completely unresponsive.
