  • Im thinking if african runners will focus in triathlon. Haha! Bang! They will beat many white athlete.

  • @pabanil they would get blown away on the bike!

  • I wonder how long it took Chrissy to recapture the lead on this cycling day.

  • @Aoudhubillahi an hour you fuck. Mister deep voice told us.

  • @hego307 So profane...Aoudhubillahi³³³³²²³³³²²²² x ∞...from you and those like you. You really have profaned the awesome moment of this athlete's achievement...I understand not to invite some1 like you to a celebration, it would get muddled by senseless responses like yours. You're probably from (the not) Pearl St. in Boulder, Colorado.

  • Seriously impressive comeback.

  • whoa

  • How can a pro not know how to use the CO2 inflator and carry just one in a century ride?

  • @alexsakon Maybe you should get off the couch, do some exercise and then you might have a clue.

  • Flat no biggie, just keep going and blow the rest of the field out of the water - INSANE dedication and determination!

  • man!!! that is awesome

  • Diablos que clase de mujer. Que brava es...

  • holy shit....

  • What an absolutely moving moment. Rebekah is a role model for the rest of us in so many ways. :)

  • @RetailGoddesses

The cool thing is she will always being remembered for that moment in tri history.

Compare that to a lot of other athletes out there !

She'll be a legend 50 years from now as well.

    Unselfishness does make a difference...

  • I think what makes her even more impressive is what, to my mind, is her attitude of putting in her performance first, than being pressured by topping the podium. I think that deep inside, she is aware of her strengths, but above all her focus is just iron clad.

  • fighter

  • She deserves "GODLIKE STATUS!"

  • Bek is awesome!

  • She is a beast, indeed. The best beast! lol!

  • Beast of a woman! I got a TT with two flats on my balcony, guess i'll fix em and go out chasing asphalt after all today. damn you chrissie!

  • Machine!

  • No doubt that was the most tasty victory that she ever had.

  • Beast............

  • insane!

  • god damn!

  • I don't see Dale Earnhardt Jr changing a flat tire in the middle of a race...

  • 100% class!

  • My inspiration. She is more of a man than most of us will ever be, if manhood can be measured by your courage.

  • I Agree With MoPower

  • It was her second World champs and she is the best cyclist by far!

  • if it was her first time how was she able to catch up to the pros?

  • what documentary is this????

  • @Snipza This was broadcast on the NBC Universal Sports Channel (over-the-air channel). Broadcast of the Kona 2008 event. I wouldn't call it a documentary, but had some of that style in covering the event (and maybe not enough actual racing IMHO).

  • @TheMajestuoso awesome. I want to get a copy of it but can't find it anywhere :O

  • @Snipza Universal Sports has triathlon videos online, but I think it's all current season videos. Unfortunately, I wouldn't been much help as far as being able to find this video.

  • Question: the rules are "no outside help" but yet it appears that Chrissie is getting some kind of assistance (however small) from those guys at the side of the road?

  • @Colzify Hi. I believe you are allowed to get 'technical' assistance from the bike mechanic(s) on any ironman course. I have seen it several times myself but not sure of the validity as usually even in a full ironman if you require the bike mechanic your competitive side of the race is usually over, and the mechanics are usually miles away. They may do stuff for you that involves spanners and tools etc but they certainly cannot replace parts on your behalf (tyres, cables etc) Hope this helps?

  • @Colzify ...cont... It has always been explained to me (as a no-pro) that the bike mechanic is there to help you finish the course if you have a malfunction, but is not there to carry supplies for anyone. Again from my experience apart from at Kona you would be lucky to get the attention of such people though as breakdowns are common and there are probably 2 x mechanic cars on the whole cours eand you can't exactly just phone them up. Unless breakdown you are near a marshall your race is over.

  • @Minkymoo222

Thanks for the response! I've always wondered about the technicalities of assistance esp. for the pros.

  • anybody knows the song at 4:40??

    Thanks

  • 100% BAD ASS!!

  • Can someone tell me the name of this documentary

  • SHE IS AMAZING!!
