Additionally, the Hebrew bible and the English bible are entirely different. There are some words you can't translate and if you do the translations are not exact.

We have many many many commentaries on the Bible and those help us understand the meaning of the bible. It's not twisting or rw-writing. It's explanation.

The commentaries don't take away. For example, let's say the bible wrote "Joseph went on a walk" The commentaries WOULD NOT say "the bible is wrong, Joseph went for a jog" Rather, they would say where Joseph went or something to that effect to better help the person understand.

Like I said, we were meant to study the bible. If it was all understood no one would learn it. Hence the commentaries.
